Stamina is HP, so I assume you mean willpower... I'll check that out. ...Here we are. 04BE Edit: Numbers for the second enemy. You'll need these for the Twins. Stamina: 04C1 Willpower: 04BD

I don't think so. I watched my video of Simon getting owned and 04BE goes down a little then stays at 1C. So it doesn't seem to be that, unless there's something in the game where clubbing your opponent really bad prevents him from getting to use all his willpower.

They generally don't use all their willpower, especially on Novice. Stamina hits zero, they get knocked down, and then it usually subtracts 10 from willpower and puts it into stamina- if they decide to get back up. Not sure how that works.

Oh. I suppose that means a lot of the pummelling in my run is worthless, because it doesn't recuce anything. I should let him get up to waste his stamina.

Actually, I think hitting them more before they fall down prevents them from using their willpower to get up again. That is, you might need to inflict damage equal to the enemy's [stamina + willpower] before letting him fall down. I should test that...

I beat my own record by 6 seconds, thanks to memory watch. Also, no control pingponging. http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/143927123/RCRFinalbosstest2.fcm

Righteous. Will you be taking on the rest of the game now?

I am, but I made some test runs first. I'm currently optimizing the grabbing of a trash can about 1200 frames in.

Chamale, you may get some competition with this run. EDIT: I have a new strategy that should be able to be 50-70 seconds faster than my last submission. But it will take time to optimize/make entertaining. Also, I am working on another project too, so who knows when I will finish this. So, good luck.

Sounds good! IDK how fast I can make this, but if each fight is this fast I could improve it by up to 90 seconds. Wow that's optimistic...

I hope you didn't forget that in order to improve the previous movie, the new one should be more entertaining, not necessarily faster.

I take it you haven't actually watched my test runs.

You took it right. Though, now that I have checked the Simon test fight out, I can say it lacks things like mid-air attacks/juggling or self-hits. Consider these too, even though they take more time (I assume you decided not to use certain types of attacks because they were ineffective time-wise, is that right?).

Yeah... My first run used various weird comboes, at one point throwing Simon and a trash can at the same time, so they hit in midair. However, it turns out most of the hits were unproductive. Once he has 0 health you need to knock him down, let him up, repeat.

What, exactly, is the strategy? And about the other project, you have no idea... Look at my signature!

I found a bug that could speed up some boss fights, particularly Thor. You know the left+right bug that's used to kill someone off? If you keep the guy onscreen, he'll damage people half a screen away. I hope to fight bosses by using this for the last blow, just before teleporting away.

I am pleased to report that as of entering the warehouse (where you fight Rocko) for the second time, my run is 6 seconds ahead of Vatchern's and I've discovered yet another bug. If you press left+right for the warping trick, it's possible to "turn off" the warping by press left OR right. If you time it right, the character ends up in midair. Hopefully, this could speed up entering the door after the Otis fight. I plan to grab a tire in the warehouse, pwn the next 3 bosses, then grab a trash can to do yet more damage. Trash can of justice: Now with more justice!
