Dear Bisqwit, If you could visit any point in time, where would you go and why? Don't worry, you will not cause any paradoxes and you can return to the present at any time you wish. I'm asking both you and Fabian as I feel it should provide interesting results.

How nice that you added the "don't worry" part, because that's what I would have pointed out otherwise :P The times I would like to visit: -- Some of the days when Christ walked on earth ---- Because I just would like to be there to see those events myself. ---- Some of those nights too. There was no light pollution! You could see the sky in its awesomeness. Today, stars can be invisible due to the glow of cities more than 100 kilometers away. -- Near future, say, 60 years from now -- Farther future, say, 400 years from now -- Much farther future, say, 3500 years from now -- A lot farther future, say, 14000 years from now ---- Just because I'm curious how the future progresses. Of course, I couldn't take any information back with me because then I would be making a paradox... If was also thinking of some astronomically distant event in the past but I couldn't think of anything that I could/would want to observe and that wouldn't take millennia to unfold.

Dear Bisqwit: What type of music do you preferably listen to?

Just out of curiosity, what would you think/do if for some reason you failed to witness the respective events (for instance, if they happened in a totally different manner or not at all)?

It would still be interesting. Though my first thought would be "I must have gotten here at wrong day, guess I'll settle in for a few weeks... Oh, but I don't know any of the languages spoken here, I'm screwed." But if something interesting (read: something that concurs with Bible) would fail to happen for an unspecified length of time, I would probably try my best to investigate why not, despite the obvious language problems. Cpadolf: I prefer music where I can fill in my own words and yet choose to not do so (a complex way of saying that I prefer music without singing). I find console game soundtracks my most common variety of music. I also intellectually enjoy some classical music.

You ever tried out the OCremixes site? what they have there is 90% shit, but there are a few that have the same nostalgic appeal, but are arranged to be a lot of fun to listen to. A must for anyone who actually cares for oldschool soundtracks.

I'm 90% disappointed with remixes and prefer the originals instead.

That site is kinda funny compared to this one, because they take submissions and have a publication process that is similar to the process here. What makes it funny is that they face so many of the same problems that we do here, in un-publishing old shitty songs and stuff like that. Funny that both places used to take almost anything that people took the time to make, but now standards are quite high.

Yeah OCremix fails to please me aswell ~80-90% of the time, though they have some (Mostly piano only) tracks that are really really good.

Dear Bisqwit, Since no more "ask me" threads are allowed, is it okay if I create a "ask anyone" thread, where anyone can answer questions instead just the one person who created the thread? People could also direct their questions to a specific person if they wanted, but it would mostly be a free-for-all thread.

I've raised that point here. Apparently, nothing prevents you from starting such a topic provided you know how to deal with its inherent problem.

Blech, who cares, I started the topic here: http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=143612 If Bisqwit or any other moderator feels it is inappropriate, he/she can lock it, I guess......

If a run was sent in that was over 24 hours long, would the time be listed with the amount of days the run was, then hours, minutes, seconds, frames?

No. It will say 40 hours, not 1 day and 16 hours.

Dear Bisqwit, is there any game that haven't been TASed yet (for the consoles that have a reliable TAS-emulator) that you would personally like to see TAS:ed? Is there any run on this site that you think is in big need of improvement? (you don't need to answer this if you don't want to, I can understand that the author of that run might be offended.)

I would personally want to see a Wrecking Crew TAS. I don't promise I would accept it though; it has chances of being boring. Re: Movies in need of improving, I don't have anything in mind but I would look at the oldest movies if I would need to. Probably something like Snow Bros can be improved. But it's also one of the most boring movies...

It is. I had stability issues or other that I cannot recall. > Do you find it annoying as more and more 4chan'ners are using 4chan slang on forums other than 4chan? I had to read that question about four times before I could parse it. Yes, such things tend to be annoying. > i think it is cool you liek Rozen Maiden I'm not particularly that much a fan of it, but I did like that wallpaper. > Am I late? Not that I know.

Dear Bisqwit, Thoughts on software patents?
g,o,p,i=1e4,a[10001];main(x){for(;p?g=g/x*p+a[p]*i+2*!o: 53^(printf("%.4d",o+g/i),p=i,o=g%i);a[p--]=g%x)x=p*2-1;}

Wow that was quick. I remembered my question! What was the deal with Gens connecting to the nesvideos site? Also, how can you see my wallpaper?
