I am unable to view submission/published pages. I am unable to view directories for videos (NES, SNES, etc.). The front page works, and the forums work. This is the error message I have received. " Mirroring is not allowed for this page. More information: http://senseis.xmp.net/?WhyMirroringIsBad. /Bisqwit, <bisqwit> " I use firefox, and found this problem within the last few weeks. I'm afraid that I might have deleted something while cleaning my registry, however I am not sure. Any idea?
If anyone can figure out how to get that apple to the cage... I don't think the trampoline will work due to delays in whistling and the time it takes the ketchup to fall.(aBahB) My Video Game Music Archive: http://www.youtube.com/user/clov56

I like how much of Bisqwit's version of those pages is copied verbatim from SL. ... listing the extensions you use (since saying "firefox" is like saying you live in "a house" and not giving any indication as to what exactly is in said house) would also be helpful because i'm sure there are about 50 billion that Bisqwit does not like for one reason or another

I have disabled Norton Internet Security, and they run again. The pages work now. I have had a similar error with gametrailers.com not playing flash videos in their browser. I can only wonder if it is an error with the site(s), with Norton, or with Mozilla Firefox.... ? This error only appeared in the past couple weeks. In any case, I have found a way to view the pages.

Well, if the problem is solved by turning off Norton. I would blame Norton.

Norton was once good software. No more.

After reading the access log of mr. THEFORCE, I noticed two peculiar behaviors. 1) Your web client accesses the TASVideos RSS file every hour. 24 times in a day, that is ― with an obsolete URL. You use http://tasvideos.org/movies.rss . That's ok though, it just creates twice redundant access due to the redirection to new URL. 2) All your access has been with a Referrer field of "-" and an User-agent field of "-". Normally, the Referrer field says the URL where you clicked the link that lead to that page, the User-agent says which software you're actually using for browsing the site. Now, this is the problem. User-agent "-" happens to be on my ban list. But, as you figured out, "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.14) Gecko/20080404 Firefox/2.0.0.14" works just fine when you are using Firefox for Windows. So it is indeed that Norton Internet "Security" that is to blame in this case. (That, or my decisions as a webmaster ― but I've been a webmaster for quite a long time and there is quite often some reason behind what I do.)
