Hate to nitpick like a jerk, but I'm seeing this again and again. To anyone who consistently writes these wrong: 1) The progressive tense of the verb to die is dying, not "dieing". (Look it up in a dictionary if you don't believe me.) The same goes for to lie -> lying. 2) When you have a verb which ends in -uce and you want to make the equivalent noun/adjective, it usually ends in -ucible, not "-ucable". For example, it's reproduce -> reproducible (not "reproducable").

English is my fourth language. I only had it for 2 years in shool... so when you find an error in my spelling or my grammar, don't bother me with it, that would only be annoying for both of us. I also think everyone understand what user xy means by "dieing" or "reproducable"

I don't see the reason to be so hostile against anyone who wishes to correct your spelling. I find that here people don't usually correct spelling out of malice but to educate. In the end, if your text from that point onwards is more readable, everyone wins. Not to mention, that your point will be taken in much higher regard if you present it with correct (and clear) grammar, instead of leetspeak or random gibberish. (And the disclaimer: I do not aim this at any one user or group.)

Also... You're = You are. Your =/= You are. Therefore... Your =/= You're. That annoys me beyond belief, along with people getting there/their/they're confused...seriously... And its/it's. An apostrophe should ONLY be used when you mean "it is". "It's" is NOT the possessive term, and "its" is NOT the same as "it is". "Its" is the possessive term. Basic English, people. Learn it.

It helps if, when you write "it's", you always read it mentally as "it is". If it doesn't make any sense, it's wrong. Example: "The game saved it's data to the file" -> "the game saved it is data to the file". Doesn't make sense, thus wrong. Example 2: "It's obvious this is going nowhere" -> "it is obvious this is going nowhere". Makes sense, hence correct. Question: Is this contraction correct? "The rest of it is not difficult." -> "The rest of it's not difficult."

Why don't you use your own example to figure it out?

Technically it is, I think.

Usually, contradicting "is not" to "isn't" takes priority -> "The rest of it isn't difficult.". Exceptions apply, e.g. when you wish to emphasise the negation. "No, it's NOT!" In this case, "is" refers to "the rest", not to "it". As the two words don't belong to each other semantically, you shouldn't contradict them. Do I get a cookie?

I hate people who can't differentiate between lose and loose. It drives me absolutely batshit fucking insane ballistic, that's how mad I get. I literally go ballistic. If you can't remember which means what, why bother learning English at all? And don't tell me about how some people don't have English as their first language, because I could care less.

A couple more... CORRECT: I would've gone into that level first, but it would've cost 10 minutes. CORRONG: I would've went into that level first, but it would've cost 10 minutes. CORRECT: If I had TASed that game, it would've killed me. CORRONG: If I would have TASed that game, it would've killed me.

I could care less. You mean "couldn't care less". That one is also really annoying. =P
