I've been wondering what everyone out there has in their house that they have kept for a while or bought recently that is worth some value that you want to share with the crowd. For the NES, I have some cheap bootlegs (15 in 1 and 46 in 1), Dragon Warrior 1, 2, and 4...3 is coming soon. Mega Man 1-6. Tons of complete game sets (Castlevania, Back to the Future, Tetris, and tons more) Also have some 1st gen. carts with the 5 screws in the back. And my Neo Geo CD system.

For the NES, I have a 5-in-1 cart that has Legend of Kage, The Goonies, Urban Champion, Arkanoid and Galaxian. That's about it.

The most rare/sought-after game I've owned is Panzer Dragoon Saga for Saturn. Sadly, it was stolen from me before I even made it through disc 1. Most rare/sought-after games I have currently in my possession? Probably Suikoden I and II. I have a bunch of games that people gawk at when they see them, but nothing truly rare. I also have a full set of Mega Man carts, and every domestic release in the Castlevania franchise (not counting the PS2 games, because I frankly can't stand the series in 3D), as well as the Japanese Dracula X: Chi no Rondo on PCE CD, and its sequel on Saturn (neither of which are rare in Japan, but people jaw drop at them here just the same). Maybe a few others I could note here and there, but that's all I can think of off the top of my head right now.

I have virtually nothing interesting. I've got a PC game called Normality, which is rare but it doesn't matter since nobody seems to want it (it's an excellent game though). Hmm... I also have a Macintosh Classic, but that's about it.

I have a PAL Sega Master System in my basement and it even still works. /Well, it's neither rare or high priced, but possibly halfway forgotten by quite some players.

Well, I have the X-men for genesis. Everone seems to orgasm over clone wars, but for me, the first one was better (and fewer people have heard of it/played it). I guess the next best thing I have is Sonic Gems collection for GCN, and Evolution 2 for Dreamcast (E2 is probably not rare, or popular, but meh). I do have an original (not Greatest Hits) of FF7. All in all, nothing special.

I have a Game & Watch handheld, namely "Donkey Kong 3". It's in mint condition, save for the packaging, which shows some wear. Also, a cousin of mine has a Game Boy (the original model) and a Virtual Boy.

I have a copy of Intelligent Qube I bought used a few years ago. All I got was the disk; even the cover in the case is just a printout. Original run copies of FF7 and Xenogears, too.

I have Crystal Quest on Gameboy, which is ridiculously rare, though not very sought after. I also have River City Ransom EX on GBA, which is quite expensive in all of the local used games stores.

I have Pokémon Green. It's a Japanese one, so it's actually a real game (unlike those bootleg ones which were released in non-Japan places). I also have one of those "x in 1" GB games which has the bootleg Pokémon Green on it, as well as many other terrible games.

I also have a Macintosh classic somewhere (airborne was an awesome game (I think that's what it was called) and it had some incarnation of lemmings on it if I remember rightly). I also have some type of pong console somewhere (the one with the dial for the controller) but I doubt it works anymore. For the NES I have about 30 or so games including most of the popular ones (megaman 1, 2 & 3, gold LoZ, SMB/Duck Hunt, SMB3, Tetris) plus a zapper, but the NES was so mass produced that few of its products have any huge worth. I could say the same about most of my collection (which is pretty large, I have; NES, SNES, Gens x2, PSX x2, N64 pkmn, GBC, GBC pkmn, GBA, GBA SP, NDS, NGC, PS2, Wii, 360 plus however many games). I wouldn't call myself a collector because I do it mostly to get games and consoles that have a particular charm rather than anything that is particularly rare (it definitely falls short of paying more than £50 for a console or £10-£15 for a game).

I do have an incredibly rare pc game, something which I've never encountered over Ebay. Sadly it has next to no sought after value (so no kind of estimate could be made), as it wouldn't interest your average gamer. Other games I have that have some value are Athlete Kings Christmas Nights OoT Gold Cartridge The rarest game and most desirable game that comes to mind, was an unreleased, unfinished game of a Link to the Past 2 on the SNES, or whatever it's may have been titled.

Wow, Zelda gold cartridges count? If so, my rarest game should be the Majora's Mask PAL gold cartridge, though I don't think it's that special. I had lots of old Game Boy games (some of them should be rare by now), but lost all of them in an accident. >_>

Rarest gems in my collection? My Myriad 6-In-1 cart [that someone honestly tried to pay me $1100us for and I refused.. too sketchy sounding to be legit] and my Cheetahmen II boxed. [With shrinkwrap still on it] Mr. Kelly R. Flewin

I still have a fairly functional Atari 2600 with about 15 games. Of course I have some older games that could be worth mentioning as well. NES - Zelda 1+2, Megaman 1-6, SMB 1,2,3, many others. SNES - Megaman X1, X2 (No Chrono Trigger or FF6 unfortunately.) N64 - Original OoT (Complete with voodoo fire temple chanting.) I also have a fairly extensive original GB collection.

I've heard that the gray zelda carts are actually more rare.

I also have a Mac classic, along with the laser printer that went with it (really costly back in the day) but my game collection is not really anything special. I was in the habit of pawning all of my games and the matching console every time a new generation came out. It kills me to think I sold 35 NES carts for 2$ each, knowing that some of them are valuable now. I even had most of the matching boxes, and almost all of the instruction books that came with them. I wish I had kept my game collection as intact as my old Magic collection. I really wonder what its worth these days. I imagine quite a bit.

Original prints of FFVII weren't exactly released in small numbers. Actually makes me wonder why people attempt to cash in on the black label when the GH release is more rare. But yes, I have a full set of original prints of all the domestic Final Fantasies, barring XI. MMOs are not of the slightest interest to me. Also, SMB1 and 3 are among the best-selling games of all-time, both at some point pack-ins with the system... And yes, the grey carts of Zelda II are actually quite rare compared against the original gold run. Not sure about the original LoZ, because the grey carts of that thing were still being sold in every Wal-Mart in the late 90's. Also, I'm wondering which copies of Metal Gear Solid are actually more rare - I thought I remembered a plain (mostly black and grey pencil sketch of Snake's face) ink cover when it first came out, and I happened to wait a couple months to give it a try. Came away with a plain white cover that had a red foil logo stamp instead. Never really paid attention to which cover was released in greater numbers.

I've got Blaze & Blade (JE only) which was quite hard to actually find an ISO for a few years ago. That's about it really, most (r|R)are games suck!
