Just played through this for fun -- a game I remember fondly from arcades of yesteryear. Controlled 2 players at once just for the combo moves (switched characters halfway through too for variety's sake). By the way, I love that arcade games all have built in cheating when emulated -- I must have spent 20 bucks in virtual quarters (yes, I suck at video games). This game really demands a River City Ransom style playaround, with all 4 characters at once. Between the combo moves, silly enemies/bosses, tons of funny weapons and little interactions with the environment (like beating up Barney and making Bongo come out of a tree) I think this otherwise standard beat-em-up can cram in plenty of entertainment. A straight up speedrun would be fine too, but I fear it would be pretty bland. It's hard to tell, but it looks like the combo moves of Marge/Homer and Lisa/Bart allow for faster travel, though you have to stand still for a moment to enable them. I abused the crap out of these moves though since you can basically roll over enemies and deal damage. Oh, and I'm not volunteering :)
I make a comic with no image files and you should read it. While there is a lower class, I am in it, and while there is a criminal element I am of it, and while there is a soul in prison, I am not free. -Eugene Debs

A big yes please from another kid who wasted far too much money on this. Usually on my own though, so no idea what the combo attacks were like. Ah memories.... ...why the hell did Moe have a bar under a graveyard?

I'd be very interested in taking this project, but honestly (unfortunately) I don't have that much free time :(

The only way to do this run justice is to go 4 player. I could get on board with a playaround idea for this one too if there is enough variety. Either way, I'd at least like to see it for nostalgic value.

If this doesn't happen, I think I'm going to kill a puppy.
