So good news. ShinyDoofy managed to implement something I was having trouble with the past few days. So a round of applause to ShinyDoofy. Hopefully we should be running much better now.

How come the site has been down for me since the moving, up until today ? DNS took 4 friggin' days to propagate ? Has it been down ? I'm quite sure lot of the site's audience had the same problem, and will come back shortly. Hey, glad to see you back guys.

Wait, it's a shared server now? In the other thread Nach said something along the lines of it being a dedicated server. (Ok, I think he didn't say that, but he did say that the admins have full root access to the entire server, which would seem odd if it's shared and not dedicated.) Maybe I just got confused.

So we still have some things to fix, but I am happy to announce the site is up and running and looks like it will fit within the confines of the server. We did however have to upgrade to a more expensive server. Several people have been very generous and amazing with donations, and I want to thank all of them. It means a lot to me that people were willing to help out and make this transition happen. It means a lot to me. I intend to make a page with update information about the costs/donations info. Right now the operating cost is $40 for the server rental. We have received enough donations that I have paid for that server for 12 months plus have some money left over for next year. For TASvideos to continue to survive, it will require continuous donation money to trickle in. But for now, we are running at least :) There are still going to be a lot of little bugs around the site, some I may not know about it. At the risk of PM flooding, I am asking people to report any bugs they may encounter (give it a day or so before posting though, if it is a major one, it is probably being fixed).
