About the EXskill

The EXskill's combo level is different from MMZ3 or MMZ4, use them before you use the triple slash is the right way. And the EXskill KOUGENJIN is useless, but i have opened it to show how to use it in a right way, because it is really a little special.

About the combo levels

I'll put some attack action's combo level I have found in here:
  • LV1:Jump slash, Dash slash, Stand slash, Move slash, Charged slash, all the EXskills of saber, all of the shoot attack, nomal attack with chain rod, charge shield, the first hit with charge chain rod.
  • LV2:Double slash, the second hit with charge chain rod.
  • LV3:Triple slash, the third hit with charge chain rod.
  • LV4:The fourth hit with charge chain rod.

About weapon level up choose:

Accroding to the combo system of this game, and with klmz's suggestion, I have chose to make the saber and chain rod levelup for their charged attack.

About Phoenix Magnion's battle

This battle is the most specially boss battle in Megaman Zero series. The electrical attack will takes more damege, but it also will stop Magnion's action, then we can't do any combo attack, and just when it use the shadow attack or rush attack, we can combo it, so I have choose some nomal property attacks and manipulate its rush attack and shadow attack come out to fight with it.

About Kuwagust Anchus & Herculious Anchortus's battle:

Another specially battle, you can't finish this battle if they don't crash into each other, though their HP are equal to 0, the improved in this battle is let Kuwagust Anchus to catch Zero to stop its action, it could be save lots of frames.

nicely done. Yes vote. though, it was annoying having to fastforward through the cutscenes, but that's not your fault.

I love seeing the Chain Rod in action. It's not quite as pretty as the Shield Boomerang, but it really made the difference in this run. I'd suggest any good picture with it as a screenshot, like in the miniboss fight somewhere around frame 104500 (I didn't get a precise number in that area, sorry). Did you lose time in the Forest of Notus because of the EX Skill you didn't need to open, or was there another reason?
Used to be a frequent submissions commenter. My new computer has had some issues running emulators, so I've been here more sporadically. Still haven't gotten around to actually TASing yet... I was going to improve Kid Dracula for GB. It seems I was beaten to it, though, with a recent awesome run by Hetfield90 and StarvinStruthers. (http://tasvideos.org/2928M.html.) Thanks to goofydylan8 for running Gargoyle's Quest 2 because I mentioned the game! (http://tasvideos.org/2001M.html) Thanks to feos and MESHUGGAH for taking up runs of Duck Tales 2 because of my old signature! Thanks also to Samsara for finishing a Treasure Master run. From the submission comments:
Shoutouts and thanks to mklip2001 for arguably being the nicest and most supportive person on the forums.

Yes, it's that reason, and the check point is a little different( but the time came back from Crystal Cave).

Wow, I thought the combo system in Zero 2 was just charged slash, then combo slashes, way to prove me wrong. I didn't even know the EX skills had a use in this game. You took damage to travel over spikes in places I didn't even imagine, and some of those chain rod tricks were quite imaginative. Maybe I'm just exaggerating because I have the current speedrun on SDA, but this is one of the best runs I've seen this year. Two questions: How did you dodge the lasers in Phoenix Magnion's stage without taking damage? Do you know about using the chain rod to pass through objects? I'm not sure if it has any use in a run, but if someone could find a use, it would be you. Satoryu: Yeah, watching this run reminded me how painful it was to start each attempt with that stupid 4-minute sequence in the base. Especially if I died in the second stage. P.S. This run makes me want to improve my current S-rank run on SDA, but there are at least 5 other runs I want to improve too. :(

Use the sheild (only 1 frame, so you can't see it clearly in a nomal speed xD)

Hmm, maybe just let chain rod get more EXP? OK, i have tried to use it to attack the bomb to open the way in Temple Of Fire, but i have failed( for waiting the bomb is waste too much time)

Hope you good luck^_^ By the way, press down when you use a jump slash, maybe you'll find a usefull skill.(I'm show it in my run, vs Panther Flauclaws and Hyleg Ourobockle)

That's not what I meant with the chain rod. It's a glitch where you grab onto something with the rod, wedge yourself in between two objects, then you slip downwards and pass through a floor. I'm doing a pretty bad job of explaining this, but I think I have a .vbm demonstrating this bug somewhere. One more question, does hitting those little mines when you're falling in Leviathan's stage count as enemy kills? If you're confused about what I'm talking about, I'm talking about the area where the snowball is supposed to chase you. I actually knew about holding down while doing a jumping slash because elpis numbers and rolanmen1 told me about it.

No, they don't count as enemy kills, the action is just for fun. @To Xaphan: Thank you, Xaphan lol

Do improvements ever get rejected bar cheating? Great run and easy yes from me. The only part I didn't like were when you were forced to kill spawning enemies for a set period of time, and of course the cutscenes, but neither are really the runner's fault.
