Was "how do you turn this on" a password? My memory is really shaky, but I am sure it was.

It was. You get a Cobra (correct name?) car that rapes everything.

The Peace Keepers: L+R+A on the logo screen unlocks the two bonus characters. Deus Ex: "Tantalus" kills whatever JC is looking at. And "spawnmass [object] [number]" will produce any number of grenades, terrorists, hobos, cats, office ladies, giant mechs, crates, primary antagonists, whiskey bottles...

Kid Icarus (NES): Two passwords here: ICARUS FIGHTS MEDUSA ANGELS and DUVANS MAMMOR KOMMER BORTOT The first password gives you infinite life and the second password lets you start at the last level with invincibility and fully upgraded arrows. Note that these passwords only work for the NES version, not for the VC release.

KNJZJ In Bucky O'Hare this is the first password you get for completing Green Planet without any powerups. It think it's been about 12 years since it stuck in my memory for no reason.

Street Fighter II: Champion Edition for Genesis (requires a 6-button pad) Down Z Up X A Y B C places to use: On the capcom logo (plays a useless sound) As the buildings fade out after the camera pans to the top of a skyscraper (unlocks turbo stars for standard gameplay) At the end of the credits reel after beating the game on the hardest difficulty level. You get a portrait of a player, and inputting the code will change the colors, each pic has a few to cycle through (code not required for portrait). There could be other spots to use it at, just can't remember them.

I was trying to remember that! Best code evar! I was always pissed that there wasn't one in the book for the Tanooki suit until I played around and found one -- but you can't change into the statue, which is the whole point :(

You wanna get into that stuff? SLXPLOVS - Infinitle Lives GZUXNGEI - Multi jumps (none of that dumb skywalker garbage) UXKXGLIA - Start and stay as FIRE mario (for world 6) Of course these have since been overturned by the god code: KKKZSPIU Debug mode :)

Was it that? You're probably right, but I remember that simple combinations of N and A got you there regardless. First time I reached that level was on accident using that code.
A hundred years from now, they will gaze upon my work and marvel at my skills but never know my name. And that will be good enough for me.

Oh yeah, the weirdest code I know is for SNES Street Fighter 2 The World Warrior: - enter options over a certain number of times (I go for 30), and the next time you start a fight the enemy will have infinite health, there will be no sound or HUD, and after you lose the game hangs. What the hell is this? Can anyone find out if it's an overlook in the programing, or if it was intentionally put there?

Infinite Health? All I remember is that the battle goes without the HUD. Also it was an exact number of times... one more or one less and it wouldn't work IIRC. I just would like to know HOW this trick was discovered... (it's REALLY OLD)

It's 27 times, and you can do it over 27, not less. The second player has infinite health, you have normal health, but there is a timer, so the best you can do is a perfect round and get a draw (the game hangs anyway)... Yeah, the trick is old. I don't know how can someone discover this, 27 is a pretty high number.
