WOW. That's pretty much sums it all up. This TAS was totally mindblowing. So many new tricks and bugs abused - you ripped this game apart completely! Easy yes vote, this one will get very high ratings from me.

More so than other runs on this game, this run made the game look like one big glitch. It was an amazing surprise to see what you did with the first stage, and you look like you took damage at very smart places. Well done!
Used to be a frequent submissions commenter. My new computer has had some issues running emulators, so I've been here more sporadically. Still haven't gotten around to actually TASing yet... I was going to improve Kid Dracula for GB. It seems I was beaten to it, though, with a recent awesome run by Hetfield90 and StarvinStruthers. (http://tasvideos.org/2928M.html.) Thanks to goofydylan8 for running Gargoyle's Quest 2 because I mentioned the game! (http://tasvideos.org/2001M.html) Thanks to feos and MESHUGGAH for taking up runs of Duck Tales 2 because of my old signature! Thanks also to Samsara for finishing a Treasure Master run. From the submission comments:
Shoutouts and thanks to mklip2001 for arguably being the nicest and most supportive person on the forums.

I must have missed the "Beats Game Like Red-Headed Stepchild" objective in the list, because that was definitely in the run.

Archive.org Mediafire Dailymotion Potential optimized screenshot: Encoded at 150 for video, -2 for the audio. The audio is 1mb and the video is 5.5mb. ...and I've already created a torrent. If this isn't a Yes vote, I don't know what is. I would like someone else to post a better screenshot though.

Awesome improvement! Voting yes.

Say no to -2. An increase in a few hundred kilobyte isn't going to be noticeable, but quality decrease is. Vorbis mutilates high frequency noise at such low bitrates.

Bleh, I get so many suggestions. I personally agree with you on the -2, one of the folks on the IRC channel thought -2 sounded okay, but evidently, I am not the only person that thought he was wrong. Yeah, -1 added only 300kb. This will take a while to upload to Archive.org and Mediafire (The quality will not improve on DailyMotion, they encode their audio at a bitrate of 96, -1 will not provide any noticeable benefit). New encodes Mediafire Archive.org They're just 300kb bigger. Also updated the torrent that only I have access to.

Personally I have used anywhere from -0.8 to -1.3 For most runs I've encoded. While I do suggest you experiment, going to the extreme of -2 does (unfortunately) have very noticable effects in alot of games. As for the run, yes vote from me.
<adelikat> I am annoyed at my irc statements ending up in forums & sigs

I rarely watch or enjoy NES TASes, but this was surprising since it was the first time I saw a run of this game. Music and level design are ho hum, but the speed and glitches and short completion time are good. Yes vote.

... That is one of the most baffling ways to open a speedrun.

I know, I thought it desynced too. I was nearly tempted to put in a subtitle saying 'Don't worry, it isn't desyncing'. =P
