I was thinking, the movie listing on the main page seems cluttered and confusing. It is alphabetical, yes, but the mixing of Japanese/English versions had separated games that should be listed together. For example, all five Mega Man / Rock Man time attacks should be listed together, as should the three Castlevania movies. Proposed solution: Alphabetize the titles by their English title, since most visitors to this site are speaking English anyway. List Japanese titles in the description body, to accomodate Japanese speakers and acknowledge the original title of the game. What do people think of this? Is there a better/simpler solution?

I agree. Dont like how the thumbnails are sorted now either. They should be as they were before in alphabetical order, now I've stopped using them cause it takes longer time to find the game than to scroll down on the page.

I like the way how the thumbnails are sorted, because it gives some respect to the most active players. I use ctrl-F(search text - in my browser) to find movies.

The entries are sorted by their "title", and the "title" corresponds the actual game that is played. If the game is japanese, it's the japanese name. I'm not going to change the way I set titles (because Rockman2 is not really Megaman2 and Hitler no Fukkatsu is not really Bionic Commando), but I can consider sorting them by the English name or something. I restored the older thumbnail mechanism now, because there were two reasons: It didn't work on all browsers and someone didn't like it.

That would clear a few things up, yes. Good point though, these "localized" versions of the games are different from each other. I would strongly recommend at least mentioning alternate titles whenever applicable.

I actually dug the "by author" sorting, but no, it didn't look right on my corporate browser.

Bisqwit: Have you removed the option of hiding the update history?

Yes, because it's now in an iframe. The history doesn't need to be hidden because it doesn't increase the page length anyway.

Only annoying thing is that when you scroll down the page and the marker ends up in the history frame, it starts scrolling down that instead of the normal site. :)
