Not unless it's an old acronym when expanded is more or less gibberish to the common person, and it's easy to pronounce. But those are few and far between. Also, you probably need to have someone drag your carcass out back and blow your brains out with a shotgun.

I'd pronounce "TAS" as if it were a word "tas", with IPA /ɑ/ as the vowel as in Irish English accent for "cat" or USA English accent for "not". It may also occasionally sound like /ʌ/ as in "cut" or /a/ as in Scottish English accent for "cat" or /æ/ as in "batman".

If you call people 'Tassers' in real life, you may get some hostility. Specially in the UK. Oh, and I'd call them 'tool assisted speedruns' then, when context has been set and I need to use the word within the same few seconds, I'd just call them 'run's.

I always pronounce it in my head as the letters. T. A. S. I think if I heard someone say "I'm working on a tass" I would make a mental note to avoid them.

TAS = TAS like in task (with a short a) TASing = Taysing TASer = Tayser But I never ever said TAS in reallife. Perhaps I once referred to it as tool-assisted speedruns, but not as TAS.

I pronounce all the letters, in all usages of the word. T-A-S-ing. T-A-S-es. Boring I'm sure. Technically, it's against the whole concept of TASing to do it this way, it is SO slow and inefficient!
