I'm feeling inspired for some reason and just wanted to tell you all how much enjoyment I get from your videos. I'm speaking purely as a spectator. One of the first videos I saw here was an 0 star sm64 run. From there it didn't take long to find the insanely hilarious SNES soccer game tas. I nearly laughed myself to tears on that one. Going beyond this site a little bit, the item abuse video is out of this world. I have no idea how to do this stuff, but the amount of time and effort put into it is not lost on me. You all work hard on these runs and deserve every bit of praise you get.

If you're interested in giving TASing a shot for yourself, take a look at the Newbie Corner forum; there's some good information there. I'm mostly a spectator as well (I have 1 published movie) and I too recognize the amount of effort that goes into the TASes showcased here.

Do I rock too, or do I suck? I want to rock, but nobody thinks I rock, because.... Okay, I'll stop right there.

I can't really say I have the time or patience to try TASing myself, as when I attempted it on a Pokemon game (a really bad first choice, I know) I really didn't have much fun with it and took practically forever to get just a few minutes into the game. But as far as watching, I'm definitely an avid fan. I've been watching this site for about five years now and these forums for roughly two, and it never ceases to amaze me how crazy these TAS movies can get, or how utterly entertaining they can be. Hell, I remember when the current published Super Mario 64 movie needed 16 stars... But yes, great work and stick around for a nice while would you? The last April Fool's joke was NOT FUNNY D:

Remind me to send Nach a congratulatory h-bomb then once I figure out his usual IRC hangouts, decipher his IP if he doesn't idle an IP non-encrypted network and then figure out his physical address from it.

Seriously though, for 20 % I liked the prank, even though for 80 % I did not. The idea ― make the unbelievable and then stretch some more so it wraps around and is suspiciously credible ― is brilliant, and allowed to explore some topics that get no discussion of that magnitude otherwise. By the way, is this not how TASes work too? Do the unbelievable and then stretch it some more! As I have written previously, “we create perfect movies, and then we beat them”. A giant waste of time; a powerful distraction.

First time impressions of this site must have improved since I arrived here. I remember seeing the old Super Mario World TAS, the unwarped Yoshi's Island TAS, the Super Metroid runs by Terimakasih, the Super Street Fighter II runs, Zoizite's Metroid runs, BoltR's Metroid Zero Mission run, the Sonic runs of the time. Now these were all very glitchless, compared to how they are today; when showing someone TAS today, I always make sure to show them Pokémon Yellow/Green and Rockman
