Post subject: FCEUX not loading a certain .sav file

I am using FCEUX 2.0.0 on Windows XP. For some reason, it keeps deleting/forgetting a certain .sav file. My Final Fantasy II .sav file is still clearly in the folder that FCEUX is set to load said files from, but for some reason, it's just not putting two and two together, so to speak. Does anyone have an idea what the problem may be?

Well, the obvious first step would be to use the latest version (2.1.4a at the time of this post) and see if it still happens.

Yeah, I did that as soon as I posted; I realized my version wasn't the newest (I downloaded it off of a rather old site). It's still happening.

the only place you should be downloading FCEUX from is http://fceux.com Anyone else who hosts it, well, who knows what they are hosting. As for your bug. Which game? Is it a specific .sav file or ANY .sav file created for that game? Is it your current folders? What if you download a fresh copy and put into a new folder? Is your rom in the same folder as fceux.exe? Also, is this the Windows version?
