It looks like the flying trick for Volcano Castle requires some very good timing; not confident I can do it that well. Hey, NxCy or jimsfriend, either of you feel like co-oping the remainder of the run with me? I don't have sufficient patience to do the entire thing alone (which is why I originally asked for a partner) and (it appears) the two of you are probably better than I am at this anyway.

Well I'm no expert and I very much doubt I could keep up with standard shown in Mr's WIP. I've also been, until recently, slacking on another big project I'm supposed to be working on. However, I'll still remain an active viewer and will try to help by offering ideas and suggestions where possible (if possible).

Almost 2 year bump, as I was advised. I have been doing an any% run of this game. It seemed to be very popular at one point. Here is a WIP. It is 1,719 frames ahead of solon, andymac and Mister's run by the end of "Lakeside Castle", thanks to a new strategy for getting the cape. NB: I TAS mostly for fun, and I've never posted real work here... Whilst the run is pretty solid in my opinion, it does have small improvements here and there. Enjoy regardless.

Great idea to use the bonus room to get the cape. Never would have occurred to me.

That's what happens when you apply the patch to a non-headered copy of the Super Mario World ROM. You can add a header with NSRT, Nach's SNES ROM Tools, which you can get here.

Finally got around to encoding this. On Youtube SMV is in the video description, but it's the same as before. Anyway I'll be carrying this on in the coming weeks (hopefully). ^^)/

New WIP Improved my previous work on LAKESIDE CASTLE by using a different beginning strategy, and finished GREEN HILL ZONE. I couldn't think of a new strategy for this level, but I saved a frame over the previous run.

First time I watched this. Pretty amazing! I liked the two 50s in a row for no obvious reason. At first I was like "huh?" then "bonus level?" then "Ooooooh" then "WOW that wound up saving a LOT of time."

Hey guys! Today I finished my testrun for The Second Reality Project Reloaded. I think the movie isn't entertaining enough to be considered a real project of mine but I hope those who like SMW runs will enjoy this. I don't know if/when I will create a proper run for this game. Hack can be downloaded here. SMV. The rerecord count isn't accurate. Enjoy. ^^

For those of you who can't be bothered to watch this on an emulator, I'll be encoding this in HD on Monday. Very impressive run, by the way.

I had no idea you were still working on this. Very cool. I see from the SMV info that you saved about 11 minutes compared to my testrun from back in '09; very nice.

What the hell did you do to that P-Switch block in Invasion Fleet!? This was an awesome watch, a few boring waiting sequences notwithstanding. I would encourage you to go ahead and submit this; there's a lot of great Mario action, including some stuff we don't get in either the SMW or SDW runs.

I rarely will say something like this, so please take heed.. Submit this TAS because this hack looks TOTALLY AWESOME! I do NOT like most hacks for games like SMW, because they're totally BS. TAS only, or very ill thought out.. this one really stuck out as something positive, much like SDW! I look forward to getting SNES9X to play nice with my sound card and let me watch this .SMV Keep up the good work! Mr. Kelly R. Flewin

I will not submit for multiple reasons, mostly due to sloppy work in places. Thanks for your comments.
