Hi everyone, this is my first try at time attacking, and i selected this nice fun game. Here is the stage one completed http://www.megaworm.com/images/./data/media/4/superadventureisland_Stage_1.zip please help me with pointers and advice, it is good to get some nice feedback. Well, cya later, if there is any harsh error done, please post it and i will try to correct it. Rom used is the (u) (!) version (correct USA dump). Thanks in advance to anyone willing to help me.

Thing that can be done better: - If you hit the stones you jump over(without the skateboard) you get a small boost - Dont take any food unless its needed - The boomerang is much better than the axe - Make a super jump at the end I have a full run of this game, but its full of errors. The long slope on the map before the boss you can jump longer so you dont loose so much time there. When making a movie, end it as soon as it is possible, you waste sometime after killing the boss before you end it. That was what i saw now.

I made a WIP of this game. Link to video Fruits give you energy, but on the level end there is a bonus, which counts the energy in gives you points and this wastes a lot of time, so I had to collect as less fruits as possible. Falling over a stone costs two energy points, a good time-saver.But if you hit an enemy you are death, althought you have enough energy.

I was also working on a run of this game, but lost my .smv file and my motivation due to a virus on my computer... looking forward to watch your finished run.

if you did not beat #585: guacho80's SNES Super Adventure Island in 17:22.83, please do not upload. It would get rejected. That movie still has many improvements so if your TAS is slower, then try to beat it! :)

Jumping on the beginng of a level acceralates faster. The 412 value is only a frame long while jumping.

I need some help. i don't find a ram adress for the level x position and level y position. i already found x on screen (7E0D61) and y on screen (7E0D64).

somewhat late, but... camX = 7e0c29 => levelX = camX + onscreenX
