So awesome I can't even imagine a Crash 3 run All platinums. pre-TAS of the year.

Huh, what's with the levitation during the Ripper Roo fight? Also, there's not a faster way through the pits in The Pits stage? Great job so far, keep going!

And I thought the "Where in Time is Carmen Sandiego?" run was entertaining!

Awesome work so far pirohiko, just one question, the stop in the middle of Crash Dash (Level 5), where you stop, crawl in a circle, bodyslam and then go to the BONUS, what is the reason for that stop?
He waits for the nitro boxes to be destroyed by that boulder since there is no green "!" box in that level. It looks like the TAS is currently 8 minutes faster than the SDA run. Keep it up!

Of course, now I feel really stupid, that I should have realized myself.

100% TASes looks more interesting and entertaining than any% in this game! Very creative trade-offs, especially in Ripper Roo fight. Great job so far!

In the Ripper Roo fight he is waiting for the boss to be able to take damage.

Great WIP pirohiko.... Well, I have at least one question for you. -Do you think the Ice trick in snow levels are useless? Because I saw the movie that you didn't use the Ice trick even in your previous WIP.

I am not sure if you know this glitch, but there is a box count glitch that allows to skip parts of levels. It is explained in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HKJ21EDIaLU at 1h 00m 40s and throughout that level. It is also used again in one of the Bee-levels of Warproom 5 to skip collecting boxes in the death route. This is being demonstrated on the PAL version of the game, but they don't mention it being exclusive to PAL.

Okay so, I'm interested in working on the 100% seeing as, a) piro doesn't seem to mind anyone else getting involved and b) his work is on hiatus seemingly. I'm trying to playback his run on PSXjin v2.0.2 and it de-syncs as soon as you hit the first rock in Turtle Woods. If I had to guess I'd say it was because of changes to the analog exploit discussed here earlier because the beginning input all seems fine, but I don't know for sure. Can anyone else playback the run?

Pirohiko has paused the TAS due to emulation issues of the game. Until these issues are fixed it is uncertain if a 100% completion run can be done.

I haven't been on this site at all for about 2 years now. Odd that I would find this topic that I made 3 years ago first in the PSX games forum. The run looks really great so far! A 100% run was what I was hoping for in the first place and this run does not disappoint at all.

Why? Another improvement you found that could save frames in the beginning of the run?

Ware, when you say emulation issues, do you mean the game isn't possible to complete? Has anyone confirmed that the game can actually be 100%-ed? -- looking at piro's post I suppose it can. But yeah, is it for improvements or version issues?

Is anyone still working on a 100% TAS or was the project abandoned?

I was going for an any% without major skips. I am quite experienced in speedurnning Crash 2 and I do know how the fast Slidespin works. Combining it with Zig-Zag doesn't seem to work for me. What I do is beginning a slide and then pressing Up+Left, Up, Up+Right, Up etc. in that order but the speed is simply crap so I want someone (someone=pirohiko) to explain me how it is actually done.

Maybe you should download Pirohiko's inputs to see what they are when he Zig-zag
