Hello everyone! Long time no see again(yes, "again", XD)! This is a MMZ run which is 179frames faster than hellagels's excellent run. For those who are interested, at the end the In-Game time is "6:03".

Game objectives

  • Emulator used: VBA-rr V23
  • Aims for fastest time
  • Takes damage to save time
  • Cancels missions
  • Abuses programming errors in the game
  • Manipulates luck

About the run

This run is not a full stage run, the path in this run exactly is:
-Intro Stage
-Aztec Falcon Stage
-Rescue Shuttle mission; use Escape Unit
-Dual in Desert mission; use Escape Unit
-Base invasion; defeat Hanumachine
-Final Stage 1
-Final Stage 2
-Final Stage 3
-Fin-

Improvements

Most of the improvements are from bosses with a "new weapon" -- full charged buster shoot. With the new way to get the rolling slash, we could also get the charged shoot before teh Final Stage 3, it will helpful in some bosses.

Other comments

Thanks to hellagels specially for the new trick in this game.
Also thanks to everyone~
Enjoy!

EDIT:

Thanks to hellagels very much, with his new find, here is the 95frames improvement run could be updated.
The new trick is "spike jump": for some reasons, Zero could climb on the spike without death or take damages only one frame, here is some pictures could show about this:
This trick could be used in the final stage 2, and hellagels complete the improvement work in this run, so i have changed the Nickname and the Realname of author's informations.
Also, thanks to Rolanmen1 again for your RAM address share, it's really saved me!
Thanks to klmz for your new ideas about rolling slash and charged slash, even it's useless finally.

Can you give us a sense of the magnitude of the improvement and how long it's likely to take? You may wish to cancel the submission if it's a large improvement and/or it will take a while to implement.
i'm not sure how many frames could be get, maybe a little, maybe more than 300frames. so i'll cancel this if it is a very large improvement when i finish that part XD
He meant that how much time it will take for you introducing the improvement into the actual movie.

Isn't possible to use a dash slash after killing Hanumachine like you do to Ashura to get the elf earlier?

No, it won't save any time to do that.

It's nice to see the buster getting some more love in these boss fights.
