This is an exciting run of R.B.I. Baseball! Grab some popcorn and watch the game
  • Aims for shortest input that produces visually appealing output
  • Contains speed/entertainment tradeoffs
  • Was cooked up in about 5 minutes
  • Is intense
Possible improvements:
  • Choosing the first two teams; National and American were chosen because they are the best and provided the best game
  • Not playing this game
Fun facts:
  • White makes several errors throughout the run but manages to win by a wide margin at the end
  • This game requires a button to be held, not just pressed
  • Comes in two flavors, regular and unlicensed
For encoders, set your emulator to pause at frame 92129, which will capture the ending as well as a few seconds of extra time on the end screen.

One of White's errors. He desperately tries to tag the Black player but fails, and has to get up and throw it to third.

Mukki: Poor viewer response. Rejecting...

Held as in pushed for 2 frames, not just one. Sorry, no bonus! (Speaking of foul balls, around frame 14000 a foul ball hit into the left stands klonks against an invisible wall.)

The National team made more errors than the American one. American were almost never behind, so the win at the end wasn't a surprise. In other words, this just wasn't entertaining, although the idea of setting up a computer vs. computer match might be. No vote. Also, Tengen should be ashamed for daring to make a baseball game without "Take Me Out to the Ball Game."

Great movie! Unfortunately it is six months and eight days too late...

Tengen didn't even make this game. It's a hack of Namco's "Pro Yakyuu Family Stadium".

Yeah, it's not even close to April 1st. Nice try though. Voting No.

I have to admit I'm intrigued by a TAS that manipulates a winning game of baseball that's only a half second of actual input. At the same time, what everyone has been saying does make sense. Refraining from voting for now.

He's not "Winning" anything, he just picks "Watch" on the main menu which sets both team on CPU. Obviously one of the team is going to win. Voting no, because the entertainment level wasnt up to par with other sports game "playaround" on this site.

Come back if you can make the worst team beat the best team like this.
