Let's share each others costume creations here! Tonight our church hosted a Halloween event. A few people thought I was Superman. I trust you know the difference.
A hundred years from now, they will gaze upon my work and marvel at my skills but never know my name. And that will be good enough for me.

Not every country celebrates halloween (even though in the last couple of years they have tried to forcibly introduce it to Finland for a reason that still escapes me; well other than trying to cash in, of course).

Halloween is a ton of fun - as a kid, you get candy, as a young adult, you get girls in slutty outfits, as a middle aged adult, you get a fun activity with your kids, and as an elderly person, you get visitors (asking for free shit, but whatevs.) Fun all around!
Sage advice from a friend of Jim: So put your tinfoil hat back in the closet, open your eyes to the truth, and realize that the government is in fact causing austismal cancer with it's 9/11 fluoride vaccinations of your water supply.

Candy is bad for you. Girls in slutty outfits are bad for you too. As are video games. Pointless fun is bad.

Quit taking things so seriously, man. Loosen up, calm down, and carve a pumpkin.

Last night at a thing I carried around a small cardboard sign that said "Homeless. Out of job. Need more cardboard for a bigger sign." I tried leveraging my (actually) broken jaw to gain some sympathy points, but it wasn't enough to get me any more cardboard. Halloween-time is kind of terrible when you can't eat any candy. :(

My comment was not intended to be serious (even though reading it afterward does indeed make it sound more serious than intended). My wording might not have been completely well-thought.

I thought it was all good, Warp. To be honest, your recent posts have been really good. You have listed well thought out points in a non-confrontational manner. Its definitely a cash in, but hell, it helps the country's economy. And there are girls that are basically topless. Win win!

Hey, no problem. No offense, no harm.

Guys, you have to hear this awesome joke! Why do computer scientists confuse Halloween and Christmas? Because OCT 31 == DEC 25 Sorry if this is old :)

Temporarily. Some crazy fellow felt obliged to shatter my jaw. Since my jaw had to be wired shut as a result, it was decided that I be sent home until it heals.

Oh? Do tell! I'm curious what the story is. Was it an anti-Mormon nut?

No, it was a Mormon nut. I'll just leave it at that.

Hopefully, the man was arrested and will be prosecuted.
