(I swear I didn't see ANY Metal Slug TAS this year, as I was frustrated from that one with the encode that lost at the end.... and the Mercs TAS, 3 players... is good enough for a match) =P

x2poet did all but one of the Arcade movies this year. No question.
Used to be a frequent submissions commenter. My new computer has had some issues running emulators, so I've been here more sporadically.
Still haven't gotten around to actually TASing yet... I was going to improve Kid Dracula for GB. It seems I was beaten to it, though, with a recent awesome run by Hetfield90 and StarvinStruthers. (http://tasvideos.org/2928M.html.)

x2poet really Darkkobold has several tases arcade but in this year tases had many metal slug series that I not yet vi and now the KOF2001 then my vote this said and made.

x2poet, I want to congratulate you for more than just the entertaining runs you made this year. Your work led to a lot of debate about Arcade runs, ultimately leading to the no-deaths guideline.
Even when the decision made was not the one you preferred, you still made another run without deaths. I find it very impressive that, instead of angrily quitting because people did not like the use of deaths, you were willing to keep working. That is very admirable. Furthermore, your determination paid off: the new run won the award for best Arcade TAS of 2011!
