I don't think you can load anything but the ti83_1.rom at this point. Did you load something else?

What is "ti83_1.rom"? I have no clue what that is. That doesn't tell you anything about the particular ROM versions the emulator is expecting to see. I know from testing that it wants 1.07, but what about 1.02 or 1.10? There are many ROM versions of the TI83. Edit: This Page on Ticalc.org lists known ROM versions.. It may be out of date, since it doesn't cover the redesigned TI83 with a blue LCD screen.

zeromus is the TI-83 guy, so I hope I don't foul things up by spreading misinformation. Dwedit, you seem fairly knowledgeable about TI-83 emulation. If you look at "gamedb.txt", right near the top you will see an entry for TI83 with a md5 hash. You may also notice a PC entry point specified. If you enable the log window, and try to load a TI-83 rom that we have not supported, it should tell you what the MD5 is. If you add an entry for that MD5 so that it gets recognized as a TI83 ROM, other versions may work? I'd be curious if you have any success trying this. I don't know if PC entry is different for different BIOS versions.

If it does work, please share your gamedb.txt entries!

Shouldn't PC entry always be 0 on a Z80? Of course, you can't run it that way until you emulate the ON key. edit: SHA1 hashes for a couple of other TI83 rom versions: ce08f6a808701fc6672230a790167ee485157561 *ti83_1.02.rom 25b373b58523647bb7b904001d391615e0b79bee *ti83_1.10.rom They aren't "verified" dumps, but they do pass the internal checksum test perfectly, so they're probably correct.

By this I mean the main ROM. The one that's just a calculator and not a game, from which you can calculate and graph stuff. We can't load the actual games yet, I think.
