You shouldn't be able to control both characters at once. The REAL game is one player at a time. Your ROM sounds like the multiplayer patch which is pretty fun, yet, not the true game.

Defeated FootKnight, got all items/armors in Ebon Keep and also got the strongest spell of the game "Fire Power" which is already on level 0 exactly same strong, maybe even stronger than level 4 Hard Ball! I can't use this spell permanently though because it requires Feathers and they cost 1000 Gold Coins for 5 in Gothica, more expensive than the best Armor you can buy there. Pay attention to the Prison escaping, it was one of the most difficult things to optimize since I had to press correct buttons in the right frames to let the enemies walk in the directory I need them to kill fast. Movie updated to WIP 9! www.freewebs.com/saturnsmovies/snes9xmovies.htm Time: about 82 min after FootKnight. Enjoy!

I love it! The prison part was nuts! But I must force myself to not watch any more updates until it is done!

Download the newest Snes9x of the link Wren posted, and make sure that the Settings are: WIP1 timing "ON" Left+Right/Up+Down "OFF" Volume Envelope Heigh Reading "OFF" Fake Mute Workaround "ON" Sync Samples with Sound CPU "ON"

Last time I watch movies from Saturn it was a Europa Version, he use most Europa ROMs I think, so maybe try the (E) Version from the ROM.

There's a lot of weird stuff around there looks like desync but isn't, keep watching and see if anything interesting starts happening again after a few minutes. Otherwise, if it really is a desync: Are you trying to continue watching the run by loading a savestate? It's possible that state has been invalidated and you have to start watching all the way from the beginning of the movie for it to not desync there.

nitsuja is right, sometimes if youplayback the movie from the wrong savestate it desyncs too. I use the US-Version not the european version. Try to not load any savestates and playback the movie from beginning with turbo until you reach the place you want. If you want to be 100% sure try to use Snes9x improved v6 not 7 since I record it on this version now. Sometimes you even need to restart your PC if he worked very long time already.

I'm still in the dark forest and just got the "One-Up" Formula of the secret passage in the forest. I want to update the movie after I kill the Verminator so there is still a lot work to do. I can't say how long it takes me to make it to him but I guess about 1-2 weeks depending on my temper. I'm just in a tennis inebriation right now, since our courts opened in this great weather and I play and train there almost every day now to reach a better form after the long pause.

Defeated Verminator with only Call Beads (all 11 were manipulated for max possible damage combinated with a Bazooka Shoot to make a total of 3437 HP damage (he owns 3425 HP). Optimated Dark Forest by using boy and dog in the correct situations to make a frame perfect run after many improvements. Again the 2nd Prison Part is done very succesfull. The Ebon Keep Sewers were pretty annoying because sometimes the Rats have blocked my way so I had to manipulate luck many times to let them out of my way. Movie Updated to WIP 10 www.freewebs.com/saturnsmovies/snes9xmovies.htm Time: Exactly 90 min after Verminator!

Hehe, nice... I feel so stupid. I knew the forest was treated like a dungeon and yet I was puzzled at the moment you took that shortcut. What will you use the contents of the two chests you took for?

I'm not sure if I will need the contents of this chests but it costs me not more than 30 frames but I get 2 Limestones for the very usefull Crush Formula and also 3 Vinegar parts. It's faster than taking 1 ingredient of the ground so I thought I just do it.

Ah. I didn't know if you had yet some miracle plan about what to cast in the rest of the game (considering you even calculated the exp you'll get)

Defeated Sterling and Mungola, and returned to Tinker to get the Windwalker first time. The Sky Tower was pretty challenging and costed me some time to optimize it. Also the Mungola fight was very optimized. Now comes the nice sidequest part where I have to get the Items for Tinker to let him complete his invention. Udated to WIP 11 www.freewebs.com/saturnsmovies/snes9xmovies.htm Time under 100 min at Windwalker.

Lookin good, lookin good. The end is near :> There's one question I have, though, but I'm not sure if you answered this already... why do you keep switching back to the Horn Spear? It seemed to me that the Axe you got at Tinker's still did max damage against the enemies you ran into, so why did you spend the time switching back to the spear? It only takes a moment, and there's probably a reason for it that I overlooked. Other than that, keep up the good work.
