Hello all everyone, after my last movie,I decide to make a TAS for Mega Man Zero 3 and this movie is faster than the current run by 1m:19s

Details

  • Luck Manipulation
  • Programing errors abused
  • Aims for fastest time possible
  • Takes damage to save time

Switching to J version reason:

the graphic in "J ver" is very good. This is 2 examples:
  • when you hit or defeat or beat a boss or an enemie, the healte extract from it.
  • :after clearing the game by beating Omega Zero,X's soul call Zero with his voice not with writing

Nothing mush to explaine,if you want more info about stages see MMZ3 Submission

My Personel Comment:

  • Making a TAS for Mega Man Zero 3 is very very difficult,it takes 13 days for making(for 100% run)
  • Luck Manipulation is ver hard on J version,I lose same seconds for that

Noxxa: Setting to "needs more info" until there's an accurate gameplay time comparison, compared to the published run.

Noxxa: Rejecting for being slower than the published run in gameplay, as shown by mtvf1's comparison.

As with the other run you submitted, how much time did you save from JPN/USA text differences?
http://www.youtube.com/Noxxa <dwangoAC> This is a TAS (...). Not suitable for all audiences. May cause undesirable side-effects. May contain emulator abuse. Emulator may be abusive. This product contains glitches known to the state of California to cause egg defects. <Masterjun> I'm just a guy arranging bits in a sequence which could potentially amuse other people looking at these bits <adelikat> In Oregon Trail, I sacrificed my own family to save time. In Star trek, I killed helpless comrades in escape pods to save time. Here, I kill my allies to save time. I think I need help.

>very very difficult >13 days Also, how many time does the J version save on the U version, McBobX? Your answer to Mothrayas isn't clear. We need a number in frame or something.

As I know, there are some new tricks you didn't use, and someone is working on this TAS, too.

Sorry, the new tricks are not found by me, I don't know how do they work. If you want to know, wait for the author, he will restart his TAS with the new tricks soon.

Wow, another MMZ TAS! The way you go across the magma in the stage Aegis Volcano Base is what I never expect. Though I voted "yes", the movie can have a 5-second improvement at least, I think.

I have compared 3/4 between 2 runs, and I think no need to go on comparing. This is the avisynth file, and there're more expatiation in it. Someone can output 2 movies with frame count first, and then using AvsPmod or VirtualDub to watch. Now McBobX's run is 620 frames slower than the published run during the gameplay. In only 1 mission, McBobX's run is 87 frames faster than the published run. I can't believe this run has chance to catch up with the hellagels's run. The same mistake http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=329286#329286 McBobX lost too much frames in the same place. And the lag count is added up to 183 from 41. So I vote no.
