The only emulator I have for TI-83 that works (with no rerecording or frame advance abilities, however) is the one here! Please help with Bizhawk TI-83 emulation!
If you wanted the calculator roms so bad, why not just check the contents of .zip file you linked? image Just so you know though, I would maybe remove your link. Edit: Also, none of the roms in the link you posted work with BizHawk.

Tip: Use a TI-83 rom, not a TI-83 Plus.

Well, I found a TI-83 ROM image (no link by request of adelikat), but I am having trouble finding a short yet sweet video game to code. Also, because of TASEditor's existence, I am not used to the method I have to use. TAStudio does not do its specified functions for me.
If I could have a tool-assisted real life, I'd... Being a novice, I'd probably load the wrong state, have the IRS AI bankrupt me, and eventually make me want to kill myself and redo 11 years of hard work.

Just do it the old fashioned way, input by input. You've been spoiled with NES TASing. If you start doing something like GameCube or n64, there is no TAS editor.

i think this emulator lacks a way to load serial data, which is the format you can find interesting games in. before you waste any time here, you should try some other TI emulators to get some situational awareness and discover what bizhawk's TI core is lacking so you can decide if its worth proceeding.

It's tough to come up with a list of completely original games for the TI83 that are not ports, and are suitable for TASing. A few possible games: Dying eyes Joltima Little Dude Hard Hat Mack gets a big gun 1/2 Sqrxz (but the GBC version is probably a better choice) Phoenix Boulder Dash Bubble Bobble Gemini Lotus Turbo Challenge And if any other game is not available on the TI83 (because all the cool kids are using TI83+s), I can probably port it easily. Disassemble, relocate, assemble. Or just rebuild if there's source.
