Link to video This beats three gradius games and top gun on the same input. (I looked around for a bit and couldn't find a general thread for one input many games beating TASes. If there is one feel free to merge this topic with it.)

Nice. I once started a WIP on beating Gradius and Life Force on the same input, but I got only a few minutes done before I lost interest. Fun fact: The function of A and B buttons are reversed between Gradius and Life Force. The button that fires the weapons, activates the selected powerup in the other game, and vice versa. This poses some challenge into trying to have the same level of speed upgrades in both games.

How about Top Gun (or anything first person) + Gradius + Recca? 3 different directions!
Warning: When making decisions, I try to collect as much data as possible before actually deciding. I try to abstract away and see the principles behind real world events and people's opinions. I try to generalize them and turn into something clear and reusable. I hate depending on unpredictable and having to make lottery guesses. Any problem can be solved by systems thinking and acting.

Anybody feeling like uploading this to youtube or something? I don't understand what is it with nicovideo, but it always shows just a black screen to me. Never had any sort of problem with any other video sharing sites, only nicovideo.

Scroll Shooting Game. I think these games are the better choice. Konami Gradius1&2, Life Force, Twin Bee1&2. Capcom 194x, Legendary Wings, Gun Smoke. Data East B-wing. Natsume Final Mission. Hudson/Tecmo Star Force, The New Type, SilkWorm. Compile Gun Nac, Zanac Nintendo Thundercade, TaleSpin. Visco Twin Eagle. Nichibutsu Mag Max Choose the same company's games or diffrent companies' games together?

Thank you for the upload. Is the game on the lower right Gradius 2 for the NES? I'm quite impressed by the graphics. Why is there no TAS of that game (I mean just that game)?

A TAS of an autoscrolling game has to do something special. This run fails to do so. Rejecting.
The suspiciously low rerecord count doesn't help it. Edit: Not being the fastest time doesn't help it either.

The Nicovideo upload started playing after around 10 secs of black screen. Maybe it has to do with the way videos are buffered?

Trying to imagine a category where the taser has 15 minutes and tries to beat as many games as possible using only one input.

Gradius, Gradius II, Salamander, and Parodius are nearly identical to each other.
