I'm really working hard in this movie, it'll sure be worth the time, the game is long and really a pain and by level 4 i'm on 15:00! i'm trying my best to make it interesting, hope it'll be finished by tomorrow.

Sounds quite long. I recall it's quite speedy game (my memory about this has been last updated 13 years ago) - how come the levels take so much time?

I too, thought it would be a fast one, this game is just like Metroid, you are just wandering around looking for items that will let you go to the next level, it uses the same system.

I remember seeing one video where the game was just played through, and it took well over an hour...yeah, it's a long game.

Almost done, you better prepare to sit down for about 50:00 (almost same as DKC1 by Snapdragon).

If im not remember wrong i recall that the bosses was quite simple in the game. Just hit him one time and while he being hit just pause the game and then the boss health will be draining continuously :P

Yeah, but it only works to the bosses on Stages: 2 4 6 7

Twin Galaxies has put a bounty on the game... with the current console record standing at 1:12.02. Naturally, this isn't the fastest emulated/save-stated record, but it's probably a good 'target' time for a fast game.

Hey there, i'm new to the scene and the forum - I started watching after I saw morimoto's SMB3 but I have diversified my interests now ... :) I was wondering if anyone has done Blaster Master in any way - its one of my favorite games and I was thinking of doing a time attack on it for my debut. I've already done the first level and it looks pretty good though I can't say it beats the work anyone here. btw I just watched the half-life time attack and the super metroid 38 min speed run and they are both fantastic. Also all you guys great work on all your movies, they're really inspiring.

The Half-Life and Super Metroid runs were done on a real PC/console, so they don't exactly compare to the emulator runs on this site.

oh, i know - they're speed runs. I was just mentioning them because i thought they were cool. My favs so far here are sleepz' kid icarus and feitclub's german bionic commando. I haven't watched enough though. Finished 2nd stage in blaster master. speak now or forever hold your peace

now, or forever hold your peace... but seriously folks... as long as the movie isn't boring...more than likely Bisqwit will at least publish the movie. Feel free to continue it, as we haven't heard of any other ppl doing BM. :) Thanks for the support.

Heh, they're not even allowed to have swastikas in German games nowadays I hear, even Doom II's secret levels were taken out of that version.
