OK, well that's nice to know. Thanks. I'll go ahead and delete the MediaFire one.

Super Mario Bros. 3 with warps in 19:20.61: Download link (FCEUX movie file) Emulator used: FCEUX 2.1.4a (should sync with 2.1.5) ROM used: Super Mario Bros. 3 (U) (PRG1) [!] The run starts out pretty much without deaths, until I die once in 8-1 and a whopping 4 times in 8-2, before I finish the run without more deaths.

Super Mario 64 "16 stars" in 54:30.33 I die a lot, but never manage to get a Game Over, despite staying at 0 lives for a good part of the run. I am way out of practice on the emulator, and again, I play better on console. I tried over and over to get the Shoot into the Wild Blue star the way I do on console, but I just wasted a bunch of time/lives. I am also WAY better at the Endless Stairs BLJ on console, but not as good at the final Bowser fight (or maybe I was just lucky). Anyway, enjoy! Super Mario 64 "16 stars" in 45:02.28 This run is almost nine and a half minutes faster than the first one. It uses a new route and doesn't die as much. I am REALLY bad at step BLJs today; sorry about that. Also, I accidentally select "Save & Quit" once instead of "Save & Continue". At least the rest of the run is really great. Enjoy!

http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL7D22D05CE09BFA41 This is a playlist of all the longplays I've done for longplays.org. These ones were encoded by me and uploaded by cubex55 (which is actually just the moderators from longplays.org, heh) however you can download the raw mkv's on the main site and on archive.org for better quality and full FPS :P Some longplays of mine are still waiting to be approved though.

And here's me failing at Mountain of Faith (a bit dated): Link to replay So close to a 1CC... By the way, I use some bombs, especially during later stages.

You should definitely bomb more. MoF gives you plenty of power items, quite enough to bomb through everything that is hard.

Yeah, I should bomb more during Kanako's final spell (entitled "Mountain of Faith"), even if she turns invincible as long as the bomb is visible. This is about as far as I got (with only using 1 bomb on that spell so that the power stays at 4.00): Oh, and ignore the slightly higher score. It's still the same replay. Ah, what could have been...

So I made another playthrough of Sub-Terrania on hard mode. I suspect that I like the game too much for my own good. Encode: Link to video (.gmv file)

It would be awesome to see Thunder Force IV / Lightening Force: Quest for the Darkstar playthrough.

Link to video Playing through a boss rush hack for Super Metroid, with savestates before each boss. I don't claim to be an amazing player, but at least I don't totally embarrass myself, and I pulled off the Zebetite skip on the first try. EDIT: and a playthrough of Super Metroid: Eris, the 2012 version. After the first five minutes or so I start getting pretty picky about play quality, so this ended up using 2416 savestates for a 90-minute run. Link to video

Apologies for double posting, but I just beat SML again. This time, I did it in BizHawk 1.1.1b, because it's more accurate than VBA, since BizHawk uses the Gambatte core for GB. Movie file Only one stupid death this time around. Movie ends just before the ending (after Mario disappears to the right after I beat 4-3). I also somehow managed to make a block disappear after I hit it in 4-2. EDIT: I used the v1.1 ROM, by the way.

One day, I will beat the steaming piece of garbage that is Castlevania: The Adventure. Emulator used: BizHawk 1.4.0 ROM used: Konami GB Collection Vol.1 (Europe) That spike section in the final stage is more difficult than I thought (probably because of the terrible jumping this game has). In more lighter news: In the past few months, I 1cc'd Perfect Cherry Blossom on Normal with ReimuB, The Embodiment of Scarlet Devil on Normal with MarisaA and Subterranean Animism on Normal with ReimuA. YouTube videos: Perfect Cherry Blossom The Embodiment of Scarlet Devil Subterranean Animism For the former two, commentary is available in closed captions, but for the last one, the commentary is hardcoded into the video as hard subs (thanks, Avisynth). The replays for the 1cc's are in their respective video descriptions.

1 week and 2 days passed, and I finally did it. I beat Castlevania: The Adventure. Movie file Emulator used: BizHawk 1.4.0 ROM used: Castlevania Adventure, The (USA) Yeah, I went with the original B&W release this time. I was so close to even beating it deathless. (sorry for double posting, but I think this warrants a new post)

About a week ago, I've 1cc'd IN on Normal (FinalA) with Border Team. (replay in description) Following the 1cc, I captured Astronomical Entombing on Normal with the same team no-focus (basically, playing as Reimu). YouTube video (replay in description)
