  • Change enemies actions: it's depend my tanks actions. This's not control exaclty I want, it just change actions if enemies make something bad for me
  • Reduce time when calculator points: use grenade item for reduce enemies in calculator points system
  • Main strategy: my main strategy in alomost stages are use grenade make kills 4-4-6. It's mixed reduce time when calculator points and freeze respawn timer for smallest times. Not sure it's best but I can't find any way can better
  • Funny pictures: in some maps I have make funny picture. Tell me how many pictures you can see and know what's it :)

feos: Judging!
feos: The game has 35 levels and allows to choose levels 1-35, at the second loops it has faster enemy respawn and speed. This submission selects level 35, beats all levels up to 69, and then has a suicide in level 70, which was already beaten in the first loop. Then the score shows up.
This is the fastest way to beat this game, so it is eligible for Vault by itself. But this movie is of a very high quality (like, 85% of a Star etalon, but well above average Moon standard). Accepting and publishing, tier decision is to be made soon.

The thing that happens at ~10.57 is incredibly badass. Other stuff is also pretty cool, but that trick was simply beyond words. I would vote Yes just because of that. Not sure about Star material (since the game is fairly obscure in the West), but Moons for sure. BTW, you've mentioned "Entertainment tradeoffs" in your submission text - do you mean "speed-entertainment tradeoffs" or something else? In fact, do you think there's any way to further speed up the playthrough? Too bad you've repeated a couple of antics more than once, I was hoping that you find enough ideas to end every stage differently. For example, there were several occasions where 2P constantly shoots at 1P and 1P stops the bullets 1 frame before they hit him, at first it looks interesting, but for 2nd time it already looks boring (predictable). Instead of repeating, you could alternate roles after every burst, so it would look like 2 bullets were bouncing between tanks.

Right, like a couple of bullets traveling from one to another and back :) The only hard thing is that one would need to redo ALL OVER in order to fix some tiny aspect in the past.
Warning: When making decisions, I try to collect as much data as possible before actually deciding. I try to abstract away and see the principles behind real world events and people's opinions. I try to generalize them and turn into something clear and reusable. I hate depending on unpredictable and having to make lottery guesses. Any problem can be solved by systems thinking and acting.

You should thank for Takanawa, not me. I vote yes. You completed it in less time, but in fact, yours is not more entertained than Takanawa's.

I'm a noob gamer only, I don't know make script, search Ram,etc. When I come to TAS, I just target to Vault only, because I know what can I do. With me, Moon is too happy for me :)

Yes, 35 differently ideas are big problems with me, my brain got hacked :( But too late for change anything. This run can't edit anymore because lucky problems and dead frames. Just remake it

I thought the movie was funny. Knowing that there were a few easter eggs and funny things done while still micromanaging destruction of enemy forces, after the first few waves, I started going through the levels looking at the outcomes to see what silliness had occurred by the end. With all the different things, I found it amusing, especially seeing the blatantly dangerous strategies you took to get to the end of each level. With bullets everywhere, random words, cute landscaping, and funny little things like stairsteps and tetris pieces, I find the movie quite funny and entertaining. Definite yes from me.

Of course I saw it, but still not enough. Suggest: Keep moving and shooting, and don't stop. Stop would reduce entertainment. You should try to make 1P and 2P kill the same number of same type enemies. Or you can shoot any ultimate enemies and don't destroy them. I post Takanawa's run here, too. His run looks more continuate. Link to video

for strategies, I have working hard rock in every stages. When start a new stage, I have capture screenshot to Paint. Then I try modify image to anything I can found. Then I make list what movent I need do. But life isn't easy, game too :D While speed run, depend lucky control and enemies actions, my strategies alway must change Example stage 54. I must protect my words in very hard. Maybe you think I have lucky because enemies didn't shoot them. No, they shoots like MP5. I must alway change their actions by my tanks actions (strategies too). That why sometimes you'll see I have some silly actions, it have its reason :) Btw, I sacred this game, I have feel I'm playing chess game not action game. The big problem in this game: free actions. It don't have available routes. Then I don't know what need I do for best My English isn't good, hope you can understand my mind. I lost alot time for this run. Don't look records count, because it didn't count my actions in real life :D

No need to worry, I don't plan obsoleting long (10 minutes longer) TASes.

Than all you need to do is learning these stuffs. Nobody borned with these skills or got that experience instantly once he started an emulator. For making LUA scripts (that makes your TASing easier and comfortable and better) you should start with tweaking others basic lua scripts (FCEUX comes with a lot of samples, also some movies published with their lua script too). Or just read Wiki: LuaScripting. For searching memory, there's a good list of articles on TASVideos like Wiki: MemorySearch and Wiki: RamSearch. Believe me, you want to learn these to understand the physics and rules of various games to come up with improvements using observations instead of trying to test way too many possible routes. Making vault TASes is good since you learn different games and also get some world records. But don't call yourself a noob just because they are in the vault.

What exactly you can’t understand? Ask your questions on the forum, a lot of people may help you here…

Hmm, the votes aren't that enthusiastic as my personal impression. Does anybody agree it's a Star? We have some spare places in Stars, so technically it won't be a problem, but I want to be sure. I see the brilliance of endless interesting features mixed with the speed-oriented action (they just go along each other with no border), heavy rng manipulation throughout the run and impressive endings of some levels that deserve to be put in a gif as a hover version of publication screenshot.

Well, this movie has high technical values, but Stars aren't supposed to be influenced by technical quality, only by entertainment of the movie. And in terms of entertainment there are some obvious flaws in this run, like the aforementioned staying near the Grenade powerup instead of playing around before it's time to take the Grenade. I presume, the author chose to stay in one place exactly because of the sporadic nature of RNG, i.e. he impaired the entertainment in order to keep personal sanity. Also, I don't see the "endless interesting features". The number of cool scenes is still limited, to the point that some of them were reused - this damages entertainment a lot. In short, I think the movie could be more entertaining if the author put more time/effort into it. I hope, one day he will return to this game with more TASing experience and even more ideas at hand.

"Know enough is enough, wait for enough then when it have enough" by Laozi, at 5th–4th century BCE Just kiding! :D I have think it before, about what can I do when waiting delay resapwn timer. Shoot, shoot what?Move around? For what? Is it help funny more than? At that time, I don't know what can I do , now too This TAS is a example: http://tasvideos.org/961M.html Sometime it have freeze stay, because movement don't help anything (example in round 2)

I was entertained, so I give a yes vote. As far as I can see, you can manipulate the position and type of powerups. Also you can manipulate the actions of other tanks. So.. -Did you tried to distribute the killings between the 2 players to minimize the loss at score calculations? (1 tank difference means costs 9 frames loss, so it's better if you can lower the number of tanks killed by 1 tank one of the players) I'm not sure is it possible to do it, but since most of the time one of the tanks does nothing, I think it is. -Sometimes I see that you actually don't know where the item will spawn and you don't/can't pick up the item earlier. For example at stage 39, you could easily pick up the grenade earlier, kill all tanks you did as in the movie and spawn the next tanks 3 frames earlier (except the "next" one since he killed with a bullet not with grenade) And I would also like to see a list of how many frames you trade off for entertainment.

First, thanks for your vote, a frames-superman like you can feel entertained in this make me happy :D

The main strategy is my worriest. Yes you right if I made kill 5-5-6 I'll have lower number tanks when calculator, but you forgot the freeze respawn timer. My english make me hard to say for you can understand. I want mean if have 5 tanks on battlefield, then when it born 6th tank, respawn timer will freeze a little whether you killed all enemies tanks before it born. That's why I alway must kill few tanks when it already have 4th tanks on battlefield

I can't know where it'll born. I just change it born if it not right items and not near my tanks, make random still I feel it ok And you forgot I must control enemies. Example at the stage 39, if my yellow tank have move for take grenade, enemies will shoot my funny picture :(

I think I can faster a little if I choice what tanks I'll shoot, but it'll make me impossible for create funny pictures :( (I can't calculator it) I mean if only have a type tank got kill by my shoot, maybe it'll faster little
