Post subject: Daimakaimura always desyncs on FBA-rr v0.0.7

Hello. I'm trying to TAS Daimakaimura but the movie replay always desyncs. I've seen that xipo managed to TAS this game successfully, so I know it's possible. What should I do to solve this problem?

Try an earlier version of FBA-rr: http://code.google.com/p/fbarr/downloads/list Otherwise, I don't know. The FBA-rr project has been dead for over 3 years now.

Well... now I'm trying with FBA0.24.94.98 (seems to be the same emulator xipo used), but I got another problem: the game for some reason has no sound. It just keeps making a weird noise. Bump. Well, since it seems like nobody will answer my question, then can someone at least tell me what FBA-rr version has the less desync issues? That would be pretty helpful.

For many games, there aren't any options. This is because the FBA savestates are often missing important data necessary for sync. I recall trying to fix some sound data that was missing in TMNT, but I eventually gave up. Unfortunately this is not a very good emulator.

Understatement of the year. I have used FBA a lot of times and many revisions, this emulator is by far the worst emulator out there. It desyncs a lot. That's just one huge error we are talking about, there are others. You have to endure the desyncs, that's all you can do.

I'm already getting sick of trying. I've been beating the game over and over again on different versions of the emulator hoping it won't desync to no avail. Does anyone know how I can contact xipo? I wanna ask him what he did to TAS the game successfully.

Fba v0.0.7 is Sync for me. If you try to tas the Arcade game, you should use an old computer with winXP system. X2poet told me the newer and stronger computer has the more problems. So he use an old computer to tas. Some one can use the FBA's cheat. I'm surprised it. Because I never succeed to use cheat. And he use the very old computer, too.

I use FBA 2.0 and works well for me,interesting this tip mtvf1 I'm actually use WinXP and have a little desyncs when I TASing,but that I remember other systems works also in FBA versions,I see much users that I know that use and is the same of XP,maybe the versions of FBA no works well,I always use FBA 2.0 and never had problems,another guys use the same emulator in Win7 and no have problems also,I don't know what should do to end the desyncs of these emulators.
Someone who still enjoy playing fighting games ;)

Just a couple questions: To help preventing desync issues, should I check the "read-only" option before starting the playback or not? also, must my folder with the movies, emulator and stuff be checked as "read-only" as well? there are three options: checked, unchecked and a square. Which one should I choose?
