This actually reminds me of watching a desynced TAS play back. Very interesting experiment.
Edit: They've been stuck in Mt. Silver (a dark cave) for at least an hour and a half (Democracy mode is disabled because of a bunch of troll bots voting against the participants), but they managed to level KT and teach it Outrage, so that's good.

It takes them an awful long time to get anywhere; this isn't surprising. I heard that Democracy is disabled because the streamer decided to disable it (the players were complaining about it all the time). Or maybe just to make it harder at this stage.

I suppose that makes sense. My source is someone from the Twitch chat, whom others thanked, so I figured that person was reliable. It seems like the chat isn't going to get anywhere without Democracy though.

Welp, they are now playing Emerald, no ROM hack, no domecracy at all.

7's biggest issue is the leaders themselves. 8 though will definitely be a nightmare in anarchy mode.
They had a bit of trouble completing the E4 in Emerald, but they finally did it.
"a bit of trouble" in this case meaning "took 107 tries over the course of 7 days".
Also, their starter in Randomized FireRed? A Machop. A Truant Machop. Hilarity ensued.
Now they are onto randomized Pokemon HeartGold. (First Pokemon being Trapinch with Hammer Arm and the Anger Point ability, though that is certainly not the weirdest thing randomization will do to the game, if randomized FireRed is any indication). The Pokemon Stadium thing where they hold "bets" and stuff is still there.

I'm more interested in what the streamer will do when there are no more Pokemon games left. Would probably do B/W and B2/W2 next, but then after that? My guess is the streamer will retire the channel after that. But my guesses have never been accurate lately, so who knows?
I love how the stream has progressed to two games played simultaneously, one being pokemon stadium, other other being the directional pokemon game lol..

They did all kinds of games in the breaks between Pokemon games. According to the TVTropes page, they did Golden Sun, Telefang, Mother 3, Petz, Pokémon Mystery Dungeon, and Pokémon Conquest, at the very least.
