Adventure Time, a show made by a guy who worked on Flapjack, Pendleton Ward. This show has it all. Character development, humor, crazy adventures, and even its own gender swapped version. Notable characters:
    Finn the Human - A 15 year old human boy who loves adventures. Jake the Dog - Finn's adoptive brother who can change his body into any shape. Princess Bubblegum - Ruler of the candy kingdom, she tends to do a lot of science experiments. BMO - An adorable video game robot who lives with Finn and Jake. Marceline the Vampire Queen - A half demon vampire who enjoys playing music. Lumpy Space Princess - The sarcastic princess of Lumpy Space who speaks in a valley girl accent. Lady Rainicorn - the Korean speaking girlfriend of Jake's. Flame Princess - The hot tempered ruler of the Fire Kingdom. Ice King - The weirdo wizard who tends to kidnap princesses a lot.

uh... the roles he has done aren't really rememberable so... Voice actor of Finn in Adventure time.
Jake the Dog - Finn's adoptive brother who can change his body into any shape.
Voice actor of Bender in Futurama. John DiMaggio has stated he likes Bender more than Jake at a recent convention.
Princess Bubblegum - Ruler of the candy kingdom, she tends to do a lot of science experiments.

Started watching the series alongside Doug Walker, who started making a vlog about it. I lasted for almost 2 seasons before stopping. I really, really wanted to give it a try, and some episodes even were somewhat enjoyable (especially the Marceline ones), but in the end, I just couldn't "get" it, so to speak. (I suppose I "get" it at an intellectual level, but the feeling just isn't there. I suppose you could say I "get" it, but I don't "dig" it.)

For long-running shows like Adventure Time, I strongly recommend viewing only the "best" episodes. Listing the episodes by IMDb-rating is the best way to find the best episodes. This way you don't need to waste your time watching the weak episodes that your random friend recommends for an arbitrary reason. I don't know about you guys, but I would rather watch 10 episodes of 10 different shows than 100 episodes of any single show. Adventure Time is okay for a couple of episodes. After that, it is time to move on. There are more adventures elsewhere...

Adventure Time is absolutely great. Probably the best cartoon right now. Peebles best character. Marceline second best. There's so many episodes that are just incredible. The whole Ice King character arc that kicks off with Holly Jolly Secrets (S03E19-20) is fantastic. I Remember You (S04E25) is such a strong episode, not to mention Simon and Marcy (S05E14). You'll never view the Cheers theme song the same way again.
