Hi guys, just making my first post to say hello to everyone, but I also have a question: For a begginer what would be the best SNES emulator for TAS? Thanks in advance.

Welcome to TASVideos! I would recommend BizHawk 1.7.0; it's just as accurate as lsnes but more user-friendly.

Thanks for the suggestions guys! I'm gonna do Megaman X1 as my first run.

Great! Feel free to play around with the tools first and get a grasp of TASing before aiming to get a run published. Whenever you're ready, you can post your progress in the Mega Man X forum thread; just make sure the run you're making beats this published run.

I was planning on doing 100% instead of any%

Gotcha. Then you'll want this thread and to aim to beat this run.

To clear something up: You only need to beat the current run if you want to submit. Otherwise it can have whatever level of optimization that you feel like doing on your first TAS.
