I just don't know where else to ask about this, and it is driving me insane. I'm trying to play Dr. Mario 64 on Bizhawk, because it's the only N64 emulator I can find that actually plays games out of the box at the proper speed and resolution. However, there is a severe graphical issue with Dr. Mario 64 where the dropped pills are invisible. In the (painful to get into a readable state) Glide64mk2 documentation, it mentions that 'Render N64 frame buffer as texture' needs to be enabled to fix this... but this setting is not present or renamed to something else in the Bizhawk N64 graphic plugin settings window. What do I do? :(

Sure you are reading the doc for mk2? The only thing that sounds vaguely like "Render N64 frame buffer as texture" is the setting "Use FBO" in the original glide64. The default game specific hacks which mupen64plus use are For Glide64mk2: -Hi-res framebuffer (enabled) -Read back to screen (1) -Smart frame buffer (enabled) Can you try these?

To follow up, we fixed the gamedb settings for this game, so the the "correct" parameters are set by default.
It's hard to look this good. My TAS projects
