Post subject: my computer is allergic to fceux 2.1.4a now

okay so... I've always used version 2.1.4a for my TASes and everything always worked fine. But earlier ago when I ran the .exe, some strange error happened but I thought it was just something silly, so I closed the window and didn't even read. Then the .exe completely vanished from my computer, and now when I want to download the emulator again, this happens: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gzkJrDusoQw basically, EVERY SINGLE VERSION of the emulator works here, except for 2.1.4a. And it's EXACTLY the version that contains all of my TASes. I want to encode my TASes again, so unless if the movies from 2.1.4a are compatible with another version of the emulator, I'll never be able to replay my movies again, ever. Seriously, I'm dreadfully desperate here. I put a lot of effort on my TASes and I don't want to redo all of them from square one. I want to make them work again. Please someone help me!

There isn't much sync difference between fceux versions, have you tried 2.1.3, or 2.1.5?

Thank you for the quick reply, adelikat. I'll try those two versions now and get back to you in a moment. -EDIT- Ok. So... I tried fceux-2.1.5 and all of my movies synced there perfectly. Thank you based adelikat. the fact my computer can't work with 2.1.4a anymore is still weird, tho. Is there an explanation for this? I know it should not matter anymore, but I'm still curious.

It isn't your computer. Your video shows very clearly that you 1) believe heavily in your cargo cult and you do not understand what you are doing which leads to the fact that 2) you have no idea what you are doing.

Try to used another zip program, 7zip for example. Btw we use version 2.2.2 today :-) Everything should work fine on newer versions.
