I am making a movie, and the rerecord count for it is wrong. The movie says that I used 58 rerecords, but I'm pretty sure that I used much more than that. Like 500 something rerecords. Do someone knows why this happens? And can I fix it? I'm using FCEUX 2.2.2

Are you using TASeditor? Re-records are only added when editing input that comes before the last input you edited, so it might feel like you're using more re-records than it shows.

It seems like everyone will expect that you TAS NES games without effort! That's good :-) I think TASVideos robot can discover the real number of rerecords.
TASing is like making a film: only the best takes are shown in the final movie.

Yes, you're not alone. #4154: mtvf1's NES Kamen no Ninja: Akakage in 08:04.77 #4216: Chamale's NES River City Ransom in 05:19.16 Only few persons can add rerecord to 10000, as MESHUGGAH.

Looks like the rerecord counter only increase once for each savestate. When you load the same state multiple times the rerecord counter does not increase. Also the rerecord counter is saved into the savestates, which messes things heavily up. This is a bug and should be fixed.

Looking into it... EDIT: Committed a fix, hold on.
