I recently attempted to upload a WIP, but after uploading the movie file I was returned to the main page and my WIP was not listed. Also, this was my first tasing work ever, and although I put some time into making it it is definitely improvable. Does a WIP have to meet certain standards?

No, there's no standards for it. Probably a bug; try reuploading it or upload to another site and post that link here so others can see what went wrong.

The movie file is too large to upload without zipping. When attempting to upload my WIP I get an error message that I've exceeded maximum execution time.

There is 8 megabyte limitation. Is your TAS really that long, or you are trying to upload something wrong?

I've been tasing wario land 3 and the section I've done is less than three minutes long, I have no idea why the file is so large.

Is this different than the bkm. file of my tas? Would I need to capture it as a video? I'll apologize but this is the first time I've ever done this.

Normally you just upload the input file (bkm) and you're done. Does your movie have subtitles/commentary in it?

No it does not, I write a title and short description, then choose my file and click create. Then I get "waiting for TASvideos" until the exceeded execution time error. I've been trying this with a compressed file after I realized I was over the cap and I get the same error.

The best course of action might be to upload the file to Mediafire or some other site and post it here so we can take a look at it and see what the problem is.

Alright I gave it a shot, hope this isn't getting annoying yet, I'd just like to know why this isn't working. http://www.mediafire.com/view/84eea3u9e6sz0b7/Wario_Land_3_

For some reason there are 1,179,648 lines containing the text "BoardName MBC5 ROM+RAM+BATTERY". If you delete all but one of them it might work. (Use Notepad2 or Notepad++, not Windows' notepad.exe!)

Thank you so much! My WIP is up. Do you have any idea what the cause of those duplicates is?

NotoriouslyEpic, You are using an old version of BizHawk. BKM is the old file format. Can you tell me what settings you are using to record?

I'm not sure what or where the settings are... unless the boxes that are currently checked "bind savestates to movies" and "automatically backup movies" count as settings. I believe I would be using the default recording settings.
