Most likely a false positive, but I just wanted to mention that Google Chrome thinks BizHawk-1.9.1.zip is malicious and blocks the download by default. Not sure if there's something that can be done about it.

Chrome's blocking is based solely on popularity. If it hasn't seen something containing an executable downloaded enough times, it flags it. Not that virus checkers are any more accurate...

Just turn off that function in Chrome, it's a nuisance that only returns false positives. All you need is half a brain to avoid downloading malicious files.

In my earlier post I wanted Yabause 0.9.14 to run a game but now PSX support is added I can run the same game on PSX! :D After about 20 minutes of testing the game I want runs flawlessly and the movie played back perfectly. :)

Please note: PSXHawk is still in Beta until it is released in version 2.0 of BizHawk. All bug reports and issues for PSXHawk (Octoshock), should be on the IRC channel irc.freenode.net #Bizhawk or on the issue tracker: https://code.google.com/p/bizhawk/issues/list And not on these forums. Expression of love/excitement/hype is allowed here. If you use the Issue tracker, please do not forget to you list the SVN version in your report. This helps ensure we are not testing for fixed bugs in newer versions. And we can tell you what SVN build fixes your Bug.

Don't worry, it's just how it feels like after many years in PS emulation ghetto.

I would rather have a good PSX Core then a good PSP Core anyday. I miss Crash 3 and Spyro 1.

Note that it's not actually PSXHawk, as the core is ported and was written by other people.

My 2008 PC with internal graphics card disagrees with you.

I think you had some opengl problem right? The next version of bizhawk whatever number it is will have a solution for that.

Sorry if this is a stupid question but where can I actually download r8419? I'd like to try the save states feature for PSX movies.

While r8419 has PSX Savestates, is also has a problem with the File Menu Dropdown Event handler. I am working on fixing it.

You download the source code and compile yourself. But everyone should probably just calm down and wait, there's still a lot of work to be done.

I think since it still has a while to go everyone should pretend its an "Unapproved Emulator for submissions" (just like ps2 emulaters) at least the psx portion should be claimed that until zeromus/adelikat/natt/(testers) can demonstrate that everything works and syncs.

There are some things that I want to be resolved before I will be comfortable saying "This is Good to Go" Issues: The choice of Dual Shock (two stick) or regular game pad (I am unsure if this matters or not, but it may be necessary?) Being able to play with more then one controller at a time (required for MGS 1) Or unplugging the controller from port 1 and putting it into port 2. Being able to create a "shared" Memory Card (For MGS 1) and others? Reading multiple discs (FF VII, Monster Rancher, Vib Ribbon, MGS 1) Handling movies across Multiple discs (FF VII, MGS 1, ect.) Savestates handling multiple discs Things I want done but this is on Mediafen not BizHawk: Make Vib Ribbon work. PAL or JP version I want this tested because it matters: Spyro 3's protection. Is it handled or will the game start complaining? This is NOT a complete list of "Everything that needs to be done" This is my own list of things.
