Breaking Scrap Brain Zone 3 even more with Tails: Link to video It is also possible with Knuckles, and he is probably faster than Tails. Sonic, however, can't do it as this trick requires spindash speeds.

AIZ1 0:39.35 AIZ2 0:22.41 HCZ1 0:32.38 HCZ2 0:20.11 MGZ1&2 0:51.42 CNZ1 0:28.10 CNZ2 0:35.40 ICZ1&2 0:45.16 LBZ1 0:30.58 LBZ2 0:27.44 MHZ1 0:43.50 MHZ2 0:39.55 FBZ1 0:39.35 FBZ2 1:41.36 SPZ1 1:35.03 SPZ2 0:58.06 LRZ1 about 1 minute (testrun includes non-assisted input) LRZ2 about 1 minute (testrun includes non-assisted input) Both Sandopolis zones can still be improved (at least in theory). I know a shortcut in Sandopolis 1, but all my attempts to take it failed — maybe I need to try harder a bit. Sandopolis 2 just needs better optimization, the route is already good, I think… Lava Reef 1 is a testrun — I was looking for glitches — and I found them… Lava reef 2 is going to be very hard :( It’s clear that the second half of the game is much harder than the first, btw. Also I got problems with the camera hack in Lava Reef 2. It works really glitchy on this level.

Here is SBZ3 with Knuckles: Link to video It is 0:04::01, faster than Tails as predicted and 30 frames faster than a certain someone's "world record".

Iḿ so sorry for Amy, because I take damage and even use death to save time :( She’s adorable, but I hurt her to save time, it makes me sad :( Can you guys please promise to forgive me doing it if I ever finish this TAS?

It will not. There are already too many candidates for star (TheYogWog’s run is a better candidate than mine, for example). I dont even think Co-op mode works because of the fact that the portal gun is like loaded over tails or something. When you get to the cutscene of going to the death egg, the portal graphics are made up of tails sprites. Plus there seems to be no menu lol.

It is probably not the SCD jump sound, but the "PSG High Quality" option. This option gives incorrect sounding PSG sounds, and you should complain to folks to turn it off.

Ever saw super mega ultra hyper orbital jump?

Well, now you did. Makes vertical underflow trivial to do, however, it leads to death. Also I made a quick and dirty just for fun TAS of Pana der Hejhog. With the result of 1:20 I beat my previous attempt at doing it by 7 seconds, and it seems to be WR on that hack to the moment. I also managed to enter the wall at certain place, but couldn’t turn it into a zip, however, it could be possible I think.

Hey all, I am back. About 2 weeks ago, I uploaded a TAS of Classic Sonic Heroes. In the TAS, I collect all rings in Green Hill Zone act 1. This is my new project, and I don't plan on optimizing the runs (because in my opinion, optimization down to mere seconds really doesn't change the experience or the entertainment value). They seems both goodly done to me, nice job. It is more team Knuckles than team Sonic :P but this doesn't surprise me, from you.

Yeah, that was one of the main problems I had with the TASes myself. It's just that Knuckles' has better mobility. I'll try to use Sonic and Tails more and still have good runs in the future. Thanks anyway.

Made a TAS for Sonic Solaris. Completed it in 06:43.88 (game time), excluding the little to not edited levels. Like nearly every TAS ever, this is improvable. Watch it in HD to get 60fps! Link to video

Wow. It's been a while since I came to this thread since activity has kinda slowed down, but I'm glad I did visit today. I wonder how progress is going because this is easily something I'm looking forward to.

Sorry for the absence. This is my maximum rings TAS on Marble Zone in Sonic Classic Heroes. You can check the Green Hill Zone runs on my YouTube channel. Be sure to watch this in 720p60! ;) Link to video Update: It turns out I missed 4 ring boxes near the end. Because it said "perfect bonus" at the end of the stage, I thought I collected all the rings, including the boxes. Turns out the perfect bonus is achieved only if collecting all the singular rings. I'll try to prevent this from happening in later levels.
