well, there is mega man 8 for playstation, so i don't think the collection will be complete hehehe (i don't know if there's mega man9, 10, etc i stopped counting)
LOL, I was wondering when Boco would show up to correct the latest "MM9"er :)
Hopefully with the upcoming rerecording and other new movie features in ZSNES the MM7 hole will be filled...

I hope so (not that I dont like nes timeattack) because Im getting tired of nes games. There are sooo many great games in snes and at not to forget Sega and Sega Mega Drive. games like, alex kid in shinobi, final fight, many spaceship games :) etc...
Yes i know it isn't Megaman 9 that's why i said "it's like" ! Rockman & Forte belongs to Mega Man Classic series. It came after Megaman 8 so I can say "it's like Megaman 9" even though it isn't! It took the Megaman 9 spot on the making line but didn't use that name. Se on niinku MM9 mulle kato
X = 10. Of course I do know it isn't Megaman 10 and doesn't belong to Mega Man Classic series which 10 would be. It belongs to Mega Man X series which is why I also said "but MMX series is completely different" so you can't confuse it with Classic series games.
You're welcome. I'm just starting to play Final Fantasy II (IV for you). It's pretty cold here too but thanks for caring.
Your justification for calling it 9 is because it's after 8? I suppose tht's the same justification the programmers of it used when they called it ROCK8.5 internally. Except, you know, they didn't call it 9 internally, because it's not Rockman 9.
I guess that means Rockboard is really Rockman 6. And Rockman Dash, that's obviously X5.

x is a variable. That was the intent in the name. It is not 10 and was not intended to be 10. It's the main character's name. If it were 10, then why is the second game in the X-series X2 instead of X1?

I'm glad you see fit to contradict yourself. In the future, please think about things not being the same before you say they are, or vice-versa.

The English 2 is different enough from the Japanese 4 to be a different game, 4easytype. But thats a completely different discussion, and plotwise they're still interchangeable. Also, the FF series is well-known, so there are lots of people who are familiar with the two sets of numbers for the same games.
Where the parallel fails is when misinformation about a less popular series is spread. It's not common knowledge that you're completely wrong in saying R&F is 9 and X is 10, so I had to correct it. It's not slander against you personally, it's merely a correction of the misinformation.

Or, roughly, "What's up with her? She is always complaining about what I say even though I'm not doing anything to her, that's insane. This is the last time I'll be answering with a nice tone, let's see if she'll still keep up complaining by herself..."
By the way,

Or wait for someone who can play through a game with actual skill instead of a quicksave crutch. Re-recording along with slo-mo have removed all interesting elements of watching movies of the franchise. Basically another case of an idiot programmer utterly failing to consider the consequences of a feature before adding it.
Now, beyond that, we just need a SNES emu that makes it easy to output to AVI. Regular SNES movies screw up too much when there's a lot of random enemies.

Uhm, no one is saying we don't have skill. It is not what we are doing. We are making fun to watch movies eg using glitchs, etc... If you bother it so much we are "cheating", don't watch them. No one push you in watching them.
If you haven't read
this page yet, do it
I'm thinking about it, but I want to do a few NES games first. Whoever does this movie, make sure you use the code for the Ghouls 'n' Ghosts 'n' Goblins song if it doesn't take any time (like the birdie code from Megaman 2).
put yourself in my rocketpack if that poochie is one outrageous dude
Unfortunately, since it's only version 1, I'm letting a good number of bugs slide. Also, I'm getting the Rush Suit to see how it'll actually be used to speed up the game. Given how much I think it'll speed up Spring Man's level, I think it might actually turn out to be worth it in the end...maybe...depends how much Rush Jet might speed things up...
Anywho, here's what I've got so far:
http://www.kraftfam.org/~erk/Megaman7-Gigafrost.zip
Basic outline of what's done:
Intro level
Freeze Man
Burst Man
Cloud Man
Junk Man
*Mid-boss thingy*
Slash Man
Burst Man's level is by far my favorite one. Oh, and the movie is hella-long because, despite all my best efforts, I can't skip most of the in-game text... ;_;
