Post subject: mac version Bizhawk error

Using OS X Mavericks on macbook pro w 6 g ram. Mono installs fine. Bizhawk 1.91 for mac starts fine. Super Mario World(USA).sfc is placed inside Mono folder inside of contents folder in package contents of Bizhawk. Any suggestions?

The portable (mac) version does not support SNES.

aha. that explains why there was no SNES folder in the biz hawk contents. thank you. But )it also fails at regular NES games. )I gt this dialog with Legend of Zelda as well as SMB. Gameboy roms work tho.

well, not all gameboy games work. Metroid fusion gives this error: Mole mania starts but it asks to hit the 'start' button. Unfortunately, no keys work for this.

1. config > cores > NES with QuickNES 2. so, give it the GBA firmware file. 3. Sounds unlikely. And at any rate, so what? Go check the input bindings

My bad. Guess I forgot to test QuickNES in the last release. It will be fixed when I get around to posting 1.10. (Done)

Input keys use the Windows defaults, which don't match Mac. (Enter vs. Return key, etc.) You'll need to configure the keys the first time you use a system, like Zeromus says. I suppose I could update all of the defaults for the future. I updated them for the Eto version, which won't be ready for some time.
