That's the real Amy tas strat, I've known about it for a long time, just haven't got round to properly testing what can be achieved with tas, I dare say that my time can go way lower, however this stage is really weird, as sometimes on that platform you can just go flying off and fall to your death, rather than continuing to run on the invisible floor, not sure why this happens sometimes.
Also I found this zip as Amy, dunno if it's useful (I doubt it with amy), if it could be done with tails or knux, then maybe you could jump out of the end wall and climb/fly up, as this zip practically skips the entire stage, as the clip occurs relatively close to the start.

Update: Sadly, I have hit a road block in Casino Paradise Act 1 and can't get the pattern that I need with the additional improvements within the level. Perhaps this is the end of the line for the V4 improvement...
Does anyone know how much RNG Sonic Advance 2 has? While trying to console verify Sonic Advance 1, I managed to get it perfectly up until the first boss that had any RNG, at which point the pattern was completely different. After fiddling a little with mukki's run of 2, it looks like I should be able to do the same thing, but if the bosses feature RNG patterns (which it looks like some of them do), I probably won't want to bother. I don't even have a copy of Sonic Advance 2 to test on, even, byt if the bosses aren't too RNG, I might pick up a copy. It's pretty cheap right now.
Granted that I've only TASed the Aero Egg Boss (Ice Paradise Zone boss) and I'd need to try the other bosses (particularly Egg-Go-Round and Egg Saucer) to see if their attack patterns are RNG dependent, but I'm fairly certain that Aside from those, they should be fine. I'll report back what my findings are.
Though I haven't done any TASing, it seems like the only RNG really is in techno base zone's boss. Sky Canyon's boss is generally pretty consistent depending on your behavior IIRC

Hello Everyone
I'm was thinking about to TAS Sonic Advance 100% with Sonic+Tails
and i did, it took me a few days to collect 3 Chaos Emerald.
Here is WIP-1
And here is the Time Table:
Neo Green Hill Zone Act 1: 0:14.60 (Enter Special Stage 1: 0:11.52)
Neo Green Hill Zone Act 2: 0:29.15
Secret Base Zone Act 1: 0:18.97
Secret Base Zone Act 2: 0:47.23 (Enter Special Stage 2: 0:15.52)
Casino Paradise Zone Act 1: 0:17.68 (Enter Special Stage 3: 0:06.42)
Casino Paradise Zone Act 2: 0:34.67 (Improveable)
Enjoy this TAS
Clearing the game 100% means you need to beat the game with all 4 characters, get the 7 chaos emeralds (any character) then beat X zone with sonic again. You can't access moon zone without having beaten the game with all 4 characters
I was about to address that very same thing. Still an amazing feat having beaten Mukki's SB1 though and progress is good enough so far.
That said, I will just leave this here...

I also did one of first level with ultra spindash but it desynced, so F.U.C.K lol
Current:
Rayman 3 maybe? idk xD
Paused:
N64 Rayman 2 (with Funnyhair)
GBA SMA 4 : E Reader (With TehSeven)
TASVideos is like a quicksand, you get in, but you cannot quit the sand
Maria suggested i post this here.
I was practicing for the amy race at SGDQ on my GBA SP on the plane, and I clipped out of bounds in angel island 2.
I had Amy with speedshoes. She grabbed the pulley, then hopped off, aerial hammer'd the chameleon and bounced off, then touched the upper lip of the tunnel, roughly where the red circle is:

Amy then curled into a ball and zipped down a bit then got stuck in a wall. She was permanently stuck in a "lean against the right wall" animation and I couldn't do anything else.
I don't have a vid since this was on my actual GBA, but if someone wants to mess around with this, feel free to do so.

Maria told me about it earlier today. It's an interesting find... Even if I can't imagine a use for it.
Assuming that we could zip at the end and not just get stuck (and Amy likes to get stuck, she is not very "zip-friendly" ^^), I think the best we can get with that glitch is zipping right and ending "resurfacing" at the bottom of the next loop. We would have to climb the wall from here without the momentum that the loop would give us. And in the TAS, we in fact avoid that loop, taking a route somewhere over it without losing much speed (except when hitting the bumper), and more importantly, ending with more speed at that point.
I think there's not a lot of hope to use it for an improvement here, but I didn't mess with it at all, it's just theory, so...

Is there some secret option for enabling camhack for SA1? I downloaded vba-sadvhack.exe, ran Sonic Advance (U) [!].gba and mukki-sonicadvance.vbm in it and I see no camhack.
Warning: When making decisions, I try to collect as much data as possible before actually deciding. I try to abstract away and see the principles behind real world events and people's opinions. I try to generalize them and turn into something clear and reusable. I hate depending on unpredictable and having to make lottery guesses. Any problem can be solved by systems thinking and acting.

I have a problem launching it right now (says I lack "mfc71.dll"), but I remember that the camhack option was somewhere in the menus of the emulator...
Sorry if I'm not extremely helpful.
You have to set a hotkey command for it first. You'd go to Tools -> Customize All Commands... it will be labeled as "SonicAdvance" in the Commands list.

Hi everyone,
Some of you might remember my Sonic Advance 2 Knuckles TAS from 2-3 years ago. The full TAS's link is below, although I have since improved almost every level a few months after that run was published. Regrettably, I had to stop working on the project due to real life commitments.
I'm thinking of returning to complete the TAS, if i'm not wrong I should be at Egg Utopia 1, looking for the perfect frame to start the level to avoid certain moving obstacles.
No promises on whether or not it'll be completed, but I certainly will try my best.

Ahh~ so you have risen again! Cool ^^
I tried to start the project myself, but cannot get it nor understand it... Trying to replicate things by visual video isn't so easy to do when things are done so precisely. Needless to say, I've given up on SA2...
