Let the games begin!
Donkey Kong Jr 18 frames faster than Omni's submission. Improves upon levels 1, 3, and 4.
This game has a "frame rule" of 11 frames; as such most of the improvement came from the first level which is 7 frames faster (I don't know where they came from :/), apparently enough to push it under the eleven frame mark. Also because of this rule, the improvement to level 3 didn't have an effect, so up until the last level, I was 11 frames faster the whole movie. The improvement of seven frames in level four came mainly from a slightly altered strategy. I woldn't be surprised if it could be improved ever so slightly, though. ;X
I'd like to thank ozort for remotivating me into completing my version 1 that I was sitting on for a few months (stuck at the beginning of level three), and Omni for his submission that showed me some strategies that I overlooked.
Played at hardest difficulty; manipulates luck.

Star?! <O_o>
A hundred years from now, they will gaze upon my work and marvel at my skills but never know my name. And that will be good enough for me.

Yup. It's a short movie, very well known game, and impressively played. Congratulations.

Is this preferred / required for a run to get a star?

I'm not sure why this gets a star. It was good, but it didn't make my jaw drop. When I watch the other star movies I hear myself saying things like "Holy crap" and "Yeah right!" and "That is just sick". Yes, I really talk like that. But only when I watch TAS movies.

I see why adding a star to this movie is a good idea. It has 2 things on it that scream "recommended to first time users": - 2 mb avi file - well-known game And it shows clearly the difference between a TAS and a normal speedrun. This vine movement cant be done by a human.
