It is a crappy video and I had Microsoft Mike voice it and using captions. The game is not as bad as they think it is. You see, I'm on a trach, with my C-Pap configured as a Bi-Pap. I'll use my speaking valve whenever I need it. I thought I still remember how to use it from the bottom of my heart, but now I don't because of the heavy drugs I took when I was in the hospital.

That's nothing. I really hate the modern trend of people, rather than writing a few lines of text somewhere that explain the solution to a problem (such as how to do something in Windows or some program, for instance), they instead make a long-ass video about it. Some of the worst cases I have seen were like a 10-minute video to explain something that could have literally been explained with a relatively short paragraph of text. The video didn't add any useful information by the fact of it being a video. (What's worse, in it, the guy doesn't even get to starting to explain the solution until several minutes into the video. It's just painful to try to find the answer by randomly seeking.) This appears to have become more and more common recently.

About 1 year ago, YouTube began to differentiate between shortform (under 10 minutes) and longform (over 10 minutes) videos. The longform videos can include mid-roll ad breaks, which gives more money. This is why people create videos with lengths of barely over 10 minutes.

Shovel Knight makes a cameo appearance. How cool is that? If you have a PlayStation 4, Xbox One, or a Switch, I say give the game a try. You won’t be disappointed.

I like how you don't even explain why the game is good. You know, by talking about gameplay, controls, graphics, storyline, etc.

Yeah, this isn't exactly convincing. It doesn't tell us much about the game other than that it's collectathon platformer. Also, where did you get that Bad Box Art Mega Man replaced Mega Man Volnutt in Ultimate MvC3? He wasn't in that game, he was in Street Fighter X Tekken. Mega Man Volnutt on the other hand made it into the roster of Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, so you probably mixed up between them.

I seem to have a very rare opinion about the game, regarding what exactly its problems are. Overall, I liked it a lot and while it has its flaws, I can easily look over them. So what are the problems of Yooka-Laylee? Basically all aspects where the game tries to be more modern! Those ideas fail and only show why the classic 3D platformers were designed the way they were. Examples: - Reducing the number of collectibles by using an energy meter This doesn't work as well, since you will constantly find yourself waiting for the energy to recharge, which slows down the gameplay. Having things like eggs and feathers worked well, since it gave the player an incentive to explore the levels to keep up the supply of the various types of ammo. - Flight everywhere The developers very obviously thought that it was "outdated" to have pads with the face of the characters throughout the levels, that are used to activate certain abilities. But yet again, Yooka-Laylee shows us why those pads where a smart design choice. Being able to fly everywhere breaks the game, plain and simple. Everything else was either fixed in an update or wasn't an issue for me. If they are ever going to make a sequel, all they had to do would be to not include the failed attempts at being modern that I mentioned, and the game might be on par with Banjo-Kazooie.

The complaint I've most commonly heard is that it emulates the classics like Banjo-Kazooie TOO faithfully, it doesn't learn lessons from them.
