Well I got a good timing with the magnetic spike balls so I don't think I'll lose much time to magnet cycles, and yeah I did remember to delete that frame before starting.

Well I'm now at the rising platform section and I've managed to save just enough time to get sub 3:00. I just have one question. How do you do the spring glitch?

I don't have the exact formula but you need to carry Sonic and interact with the spring at the same time, but if you want I can do the rest.

Well you seem to be better with the playaround so yeah you can do the rest. http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/1316946193/Evil_3D-TheYogWog-kaan55-S3K-ST-ringattack.gmv Btw the gmv is missing 280 rerecords. I kinda screwed up at one point but the gmv itself is fine. EDIT: Oh yeah. Use the inputs from this gmv when you're gonna add in SPZ1. I edited the very end slightly to get rid of the Tails grab penalty which would've wasted time in Act 2.

You know I kinda feel like I rushed through the FBZ2 because I do see some improvements now that I've looked back at it. Would you mind if I redid the level?

Relax and go ahead, currently I'm finishing a little submission I was working in this weeks. Don't regret yourself and take my FBZ2 wip as example, ahead of the slope glitch part, I'm sure most of my input is optimal, of course you can try to improve it.

Well most of the improvements I found are in the slope glitch section. Everything after that was well optimized but I still managed to improve it by like 7 seconds. I'm probably gonna get sub 2:55 when I'm done.

Okay cool. I should be done with the main level either today or tomorrow. Do you want to do the play around in the rising platform section or should I? Also I accidentally found another way to do the graphic corruption while tasing FBZ2. Link to video

Go ahead, you can Imitated the previous playaround, the graphic glitch is strange I did not expect it to be activated in that place. But I think it start when Sonic touch objects while is carried by Tails, but is only a theory.

Well I'm done with the main level. I'm going to do the play around tomorrow. I hope I can do the graphics glitch on my own. I did beat the boss to see what time I would get. I ended up with 2:48:45. With over 25 seconds saved I'm thinking that ring was a sign. EDIT: I decided to leave the gmv here for safekeeping. I'm still planning on finishing FBZ2 tomorrow.

I'm now finished with FBZ2. I saved 3 more frames which gave us a nice looking number (2:48:42). This level turned out to be harder than I thought it would to tas but I still managed. I also added the inputs for SPZ1 and it synced perfectly. The gmv Also apparently this is a thing you can do. It could be useful in some categories. Link to video

Very good job in FBZ2 overall, I'm impresed in how you saved a lot of time with slope glitch, now is time to do SPZ2.

Thanks man I'm gald you enjoyed it. I did want to use slope glitch more but using it past that point was overall slower so I just decided to do the rest of the level without it. I went ahead and tased the first 5 seconds of SPZ2 to get the moving object at the start out of your way. Well I didn't even have to manipulate the object's position as I was able completely ignore the it and I saved time while doing so which is great. The gmv

It was no big deal :p btw good luck with the light switch strat. You'll need it. Let me know if you're having trouble with it because it took me like 5k rerecords to do it in the testrun.

Wait what? Can Sonic get out of that Flying Battery 2 Boss Fast Kill with Super/Hyper without dying?

Super Sonic can't get out on his own due to him lacking a jump ability. Hyper Sonic can by dashing upwards. I believe Knuckles can also get enough height to get out by gliding on the boss. Sorry for the confusion. It's just that I was too lazy to rerecord it at the time :p

Seeing the hitbox in the video Tails can carry Sonic back to the platform, so is possible with both super forms
