FAST HAS HELL!
By the way, I’ve redone the end to make it look more fun, and somehow lost 1 frame. I have no idea where, have to check it deeper, it is frustrating.

very clever improvement, but something is wrong with your input: [CZ] [BY] [AX] is pressed at the same time, it's a minor thing but makes the input see a little sloppy
This is a sonic game after all :3
I figured one of you would improve the run (which I highly recommend doing) anyways so I didn't bother with the playaround. Also If I had to guess you lost a frame to the boss.
Yeah I'm well aware of this but I forgot why I never fixed it. It only happens on my desktop pc (which I'm currently unable to get to) which is why not all of my inputs gets effected by this.
btw I did check for improvements in the other level and I could not find any.

It’s not much of a problem. In fact, some Sonic TASers even sometimes use dummy input (for example, X/Y/Z buttons) as labels for future editing in an input editor. Also, I can easilly remove those dummy inputs later, so, it doesn’t matter at all. The first published run has some similar input left from Aglar in AIZ1, this one also does, but I re-recorded his input a little earlier as I found some improvements in that part.
kaan55, actually, I am 100% satisfied with your result, I only want to redo the ending to make it look less boring, so, I think now I only need to figure out where I could lose that 1 frame. I’m not in hurry, so, it may take some time.

Oh wow. I did not expect you to be this satisfied with my very first Amy run. If that's the case then by all means make the end look more entertaining. I only beat the boss to see what time I would get.
You probably either triggered the rising platform a frame late or screwed something up during the boss fight. Why don't you share the gmv so that I may have a look?
Sorry I took so long. I took a look at it. You didn't delay the rising platform or screw up the boss fight. Tbh I'm a little confused as to how you could lose that frame.
I'd suggest redoing that section. You'll have to anyways because I just saved 2 frames. The new time should be 1:11.47
new gmv
A co-author? Well, thank you I'm honored. Even though I'm not very experienced with Amy's movement I'll try to help out in any way I can.
I wonder which one of us will make the fastest SPZ2 run.
I guess they are amateur-youtuber TASers who are not interested in professional TASing, If not, I think they would have presented themselves in these topics some time ago.

I’ve found a strange way to stuck in FBZ2 boss (Amy@S3K). It seems that the game gets really confused if you are not staying where expected when the boss fight starts, and sends you to a weird place :)
Don’t take this gmv seriously though, I just wanted to share it.

Yeah I've known about those TASers existence for a while now. They probably would've presented themselves by now if they were interested. It might not hurt to ask them though.
Interesting find. I think it's the same thing that happens when 2P Tails is under the platform when the boss fight starts.
Hi, I would like to present myself here!
I recently joined TASing (less than a year ago) and I still have a lot of things to learn.
As I am in an "intermediate level", I would say that my focus for now is to keep training by making TASes of Sonic hacks, especially those are being released in "SHC" recently, so that maybe someday I can participate in a serious project here, when I'm much more experienced.
My first TAS was "Super Mario Bros Genesis", it was rejected in my another account, and...
I also training some "Ring Attacks" in more simple games, just for fun. Here is an example:

not much more to say ... the first TAS I watched was in 2010 (Sonic 2 in 19:55 by Nitsuja), but only in last year I decided to try something, so if you want to follow my progress, here is my channel ^

Hi, and welcome to TASVideos and our little Sonic TASing section to share our works!
Is nice to see new people interested on this, currently we are few active Sonic TASers but if you want to ask some questions about the game physics, optimization, how to use 2 Players (if you don't know) feel free to ask :)
Hello and welcome to TASVideos! I can't wait to see what you have in store for us.
You're tases are already pretty good. You might be able to participate in a serious project sooner than you think.
If you have any questions just feel free to ask any of us. We'll be happy to help.
I decided to do a short test with Sonic Classic Heroes to see how I can handle controlling 3 players. I was originally gonna tas the whole level but I decided not to continue. None of the tools seem to work with this hack which means I won't really be able to make a tas I'll be fully satisfied with and it's a general pain to work with right now :p

Sorry for being late to reply here, so ... thank you all for receiving me ;)
Also, what is the best way to make a 2-players movie in Gens? (How to record 1 player and then record the second player and join all) I still don't know..
Hey no problem. We love seeing a new face here :)
You wanna start by going into your input options and binding the player track recording keys. What those do is save the inputs of the respective player and play them back when you load an earlier savestate. Then you just record the other player.
