Turnabout/Migi Hadari U-SA is a basic and not widely known puzzle game developed by Artdink and published by Natsume.
The goal is to get rid of all colored objects by rotating the stage 90 degrees clockwise or counterclockwise. There are a total of 100 stages in the game and this movie aims to complete all of them as fast as possible.
At the time of writing this, the world record seems to be 57:14 (RTA timing)

Predicted questions section

Only 1079 rerecords?

Yes. The solutions were optimized before the movie was recorded.

Why do you change the graphics settings at the beginning?

The game lags more at certain points if Graphic is set to DEFAULT.

Why do you complete round 94 in 27 steps and round 99 in 44 steps?

Because those solutions are actually faster than the solutions used here: Round 94 in 25 steps Round 99 in 42 steps

BIOS used?

SCPH-7003

Masterjun: Judging.
Masterjun: This run looks quite optimized. It's a long puzzle game and so the reception was not quite good enough for the Moons category. Also, it should be mentioned that round 99 and 100 are completed after round 89 and before round 90.
Accepting to Vault as a fastest completion and a full completion.
Spikestuff: Publishing.

I do have a temp encode coming in if the author has no encode. This is a well executed superhuman TAS that unfortunately I watched back at double the speed due to how slow the game is. I want to give you congrats on doing this and playing so well through this entire game but unfortunately for entertainment I'm giving this a Meh. Link to video

After watching the encode, this is a pretty neat puzzle game. It gets repetitive after awhile but it is fun to see the complicated solutions to the puzzles get done fast. A weak yes vote from me.

I've played this game and it's fiendishly difficult; you can spend hundreds of moves trying to suss out the solution to a puzzle. I voted this for entertaining because it's concise and you can see just how potentially difficult each puzzle could be as the TAS breezes through them.

Two more shorter solutions. Round 79 can be completed in 22 steps, the solution is 28 frames slower than the solution seen in the movie: L L L R L L L R R R R L R L L R R R R R R R Round 97 can be completed in 24 steps, the solution is 24 frames slower than the solution seen in the movie: R R L R L L R R R R L L L R R R R L L L L L R R I don't know if faster solutions exist anymore, the game is pushed to its limits.
