Somthing that really bothers me with movies made on FCEUX is the color pallet is too bright. compared to bizhawk and console, this is what Dirty Harry (for example) looks like:

as you can see, bizhawk is much more accurate to console than FCEUX is.
now there is an option in FCEUX that can change the pallet. Under "Config->Pallet", you can check a box that says "NTSC Color emulation". checking the box gives you these comparsons:
FCEUX (with NTSC color emulation enabled):
Bizhawk:
Console:
while it's not entirely the same, you can still see it looks much better and more accurate to console. I also think you can edit the pallet a bit to change up the colors a bit.
with this said, I'd like to know if this has ever been discussed before in regards to publications, this is also unlikely to affect sync (and it would be extremely stupid if it did), so I dont see why we cant use it. Thoughts?
