FCEUX should include a button in debugger that toggles if yes or not we can see illegal opcodes instead of "UNDEFINED" message, which could be useful for testing purposes. So, if in SMB3 warp glitch i accidently execute a KIL instruction, but i don't see it, it will be complicated...

"How to set another side of the disk while we making TAS with TAS Editor?" You can't. You need to do it outside of TAS Editor. edit: The only way to do it from TAS Editor is opening a movie file with the FDS disk commands present. Select the line, copy and paste it to your desired location. Method 1 - From FCEUX: - open FCEUX - open ROM - open movie file - record your movie file - NES > Eject/Insert disk - NES > Switch disk side - stop recording your movie file - You can now launch TAS Editor Method 2 - With a text editor: - open your movie file in a text editor - make sure the movie header has FDS set to true (not sure what is the correct line) - notice the commands part of the lines where you want to add FDS disk commands - input log format: |commands|port0|port1|port2| - 4 = FDS Disk Insert - 8 = FDS Disk Select - save and close your movie file - You can now launch TAS Editor

Yeah, there's your problem. Turn off Recording, it's meant for live keyboard/controller input.

FCEUX's TAS Editor doesn't appear to have columns where you can insert coins or do resets. However, you can do it through the traditional way of frame advance and save states outside of TAS Editor, save the movie as an FM2, then import that FM2 into TAS Editor if you want to.

Why the hell is AVI recording in two parts?

Cause it splits after it reaches a filesize limit of like 2 or 4GB (I forget which until I do it). You have to merge it in post.

Disables Comments and Ratings for the YouTube account. These colours are pretty neato, and also these.

To note, 2/4 GB is the strict filesize limit for AVI files, meaning splitting is required to produce working videos.

You need to unzip the folder and the input file is inside it

You'd be better off running it under MAME. It's a MAME game not an NES game. BizHawk will handle it perfectly but will not be accepted until 2.9 is official.

BizHawk and FCEUX have supported the VS System for a long time. The Insert Coin function just isn't present in FCEUX's TAS Editor.

I don't think it's possible.
Warning: When making decisions, I try to collect as much data as possible before actually deciding. I try to abstract away and see the principles behind real world events and people's opinions. I try to generalize them and turn into something clear and reusable. I hate depending on unpredictable and having to make lottery guesses. Any problem can be solved by systems thinking and acting.

If you're looking to do this for TAS purposes, then this is already possible in a custom fork of BizHawk, see #8197: OnehundredthCoin's NES Super Mario Bros. "Stop 'n' Swop arbitrary code execution" in 01:16.97. The problem is, even with a far more accurate emulator than FCEUX such as NESHawk, cartridge swapping is still HIGHLY hardware and setup dependent and can very easily fail to verify if you get anything wrong in your recording. Even with all that said, such a submission is still HIGHLY unlikely to be accepted even today, because the cartridge swapping functionality has not been incorporated into mainline BizHawk as far as I'm aware, and the logistics of cartridge-swapping mid-run during hypothetical console verification has still not at all been worked out.
