Shit, I was working on this one too. Found my own route that only takes 3730 frames. How do we handle this situation? As a matter of fact, the run I slipped into my full run test would be a 3734. Same route, but I had two autofire mishaps.

Can you please clarify? Are you saying that your TAS completes the entire game from power on, at 3730 frames? or are you calculating the frame between the menu and ending point? As it stands right now, this submission will be accepted...as the TAS is replicating a known optimal solution. If there is something better, I would like to know now...so that we don't go down the road of multiple submissions.
I recently discovered that if you haven't reached a level of frustration with TASing any game, then you haven't done your due diligence. ---- SOYZA: Are you playing a game? NYMX: I'm not playing a game, I'm TASing. SOYZA: Oh...so its not a game...Its for real? ---- Anybody got a Quantum computer I can borrow for 20 minutes? Nevermind...eien's 64 core machine will do. :) ---- BOTing will be the end of all games. --NYMX

Yep, 3730, power on to last input. No sense just describing it, here's a userfile: User movie #638274530734989987. I was just about to submit it when I saw this one in the queue :/

Ok, I'm a little confused now. LGR, you have added warmCabin to your submission, but I thought another submission was about to be made separately. Did the two of you agree on co-authorship privately? I see LGR is agreeing to this...so warmCabin, can you acknowledge please? The way I was seeing this, is that both of you were working on this separately. So that would mean that the faster TAS would be accepted.

Ok...this is the key statement that is holding me up on judging this submission. I want to be fair, but if both of you were working on separate movies...then I cannot continue judging this submission, until warmCabin consents to having his movie added to this submission. I am still taking the stance that these should be separate submissions, since it appears no collaboration previous existed. Please respond soon.

Sorry Logan, but the way I see it, this is: Meong in 1:02.06 by warmCabin
  • Meong in 1:07.06 by LogansGamingRoom
We didn't collaborate. Not that I wouldn't! It's just, we didn't. I'm going to make a solo submission with my 1:02.06.
